But mostly you would be on the lookout for the Alpha boss Pals, as defeating them will not just drop rare loot, but also you can earn Ancient Technology Points for your first boss kill. Alpha Smokie is one of the newer Alpha Pals to join the list, and you can use its passive skills to detect Chromite. Alpha Smokie Location In Palworld
You need to head over to the new Feybreak Island to find Alpha Smokie. Its lair is found on the southeastern section of the island, just southeast of Loess Plains waypoint (-879, -1467). You will spot a lair called the Sealed Realm of the Little Hero, which is where you can encounter Alpha Smokie. But before you continue onwards, you need to unlock the lair by collecting Bounty Tokens from specific Alpha Pals, namely from the Pals listed below:
- Warsect Terra (-1021, -1447)
- Gildane (-761, -1224)
- Kitsun Noct (-1039 , -1196)
Alpha Smokie Boss Fight Guide In Palworld
Before we go through with how to defeat Alpha Smokie, you should be aware of the types of moves and skillsets the boss uses during the fight. First, let’s go through all of Alpha Smokie’s abilities and skills.

Alpha Smokie Boss Fight: Best Gear & Consumables
Most Pals in Feybreak island are super high level, and the same applies to the bosses within the island. As such, you should be prepared to deal with them, hence why you will require high quality weapons and gear. For weapons, you can go for the Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, or the Guided Missile Launcher to deal heavy attacks from a distance. If you have the Legendary Plasma Cannon, then this will work quite well for the fight.
But if you prefer a close-quarter fight, then the Beam Sword is the best weapon to have. As for gear, go for the Lightweight Plasteel Armor or the Hexolite Armor sets for the fight paired with an Ultra Shield. Besides this, carry several healing consumables and food that will offer better stats in attack and defense. To capture Alpha Smokie, equip the Ring of Mercy to not kill it during the fight. Or you can use the Ring of Dark Resistance +2 to gain immunity from its dark attacks.
Alpha Smokie Boss Fight: Best Pals
Alpha Smokie is a Dark-type Pal, so you need Dragon-type Pals to defeat it. You should ensure that your Pals are at least level 52 and higher for this fight. Jetragon, Quivern, Astegon, and Frostallion are some of the best Dragon-type Pals to use here.
How To Fight Alpha Smokie In Palworld
Before you step into the fight, feed yourself and your Pals consumables to boost their stats. Once you head in, push out your best Dragon type Pal. Alpha Smokie is a level 55 boss, and will be surrounded by smaller regular Smokies, so deal with them first before you head over to the boss.
Luckily, the boss arena is filled with various debris that you can take cover behind, so do just that and avoid contact with the boss initially. Power up your weapon, take aim, and shoot from behind your hiding spot. If Alpha Smokie takes a beeline towards you, run and dodge its attacks till your Pal can distract it, then repeat the steps above to hit it.
To capture Alpha Smokie, have the Ring of Mercy on and retrieve your Pal just before the final hit, then hit Alpha Smokie with your weapon. Use Exotic Spheres with the right modules that will help you capture Alpha Smokie with ease. If you have the Sphere Launcher on you, you can easily dispatch a Pal Sphere from a distance.
