Best Perks For The EN06 Guardian Boss Fight
You should include perks that increase VAT damage, as you will require it to break the boss’s shield. Focus most of your perks in Strength and Luck, followed by Endurance and Intelligence.
Besides this, some other notable perks that you should include are:
- Ricochet: Gain a chance to deflect ranged attacks based on Luck.
- Bullet Shield: Gain increased Deflect chance for a certain time when firing a heavy gun.
- Electric Absorption: Increases the chance that enemy energy attacks will recharge your power armor’s fusion core.
- Concentrated Fire: V.A.T.S will fire on limbs and increase accuracy with focused damage per shot.
The EN06 Guardian uses a heavy-duty shield, and maxing out the above perks will help you break it to get a few hits in.
Best Armor For The EN06 Guardian Boss Fight
Any Power Armor will work well for the raid boss, but we opted for the newly launched Vulcan. This armor offers 560 Ballistic Resistance, 600 Energy Resistance, and 200 Radiation Resistance. Add the Troubleshooter’s mod to gain -15% damage reduction when attacked by all robot types. Stacking up the mod on all armor pieces gives a whopping -75% damage.
You can also add Powered or Hardy, depending on what challenges you are facing against the boss. Sentinels is another great mod that offers a 75% chance to give a 15% damage reduction while not moving. Alongside this, add the Reflective mod to reflect damage back at enemies. At 1 stack, it will reflect just 10%, but when fully stacked it returns 50% damage.
Best Weapon For The EN06 Guardian Boss Fight
We will be going for Gauss weapons like the Vampire or YCS/186 since they offer healing while taking damage. Optimize the gun to increase damage and fire rate. As for mods, have the VAT Optimized mod and a full stack of Polished for added damage boost. You can follow that up with Bloodied and Vital, as you will rely on your weapon as much as possible to break the boss’s shield.

Before you begin the fight, you should talk to Adelaide and collect her daily buff. Adding the Human-Robot Interfacing buff will reduce damage taken from robots by 25% and increase damage against robots by 15%. This effect lasts 1 hour, and any additional buff you can use will work in your favor. Have consumables and buffs like Sunshine Oil, Psychobuff, Bobblehead Big Guns, and anything else that improve health and critical damage.
While fighting the EN06 Guardian, keep an eye on the health bar for the Ultragenetic Shield Generator. When this is down, you can directly attack the boss to deal damage and bring its health bar down. Focus on using VATs on the shield generator on its back and break it down. The Concentrated Fire perk will help you with this. Once it is done, keep attacking the main boss while trying to find the shelter entrance, as the generator will soon explode. You will get a warning before that happens, so seek shelter quickly.
After that, get back out repeat the above steps, and destroy the shield generator before attacking the boss. Within no time, the boss will be down, thus helping you earn the first boss raid rewards. You can get cash, random perk points, XP, armor pieces, weapons, consumables, kits, and modules. You can repeat this boss fight to reap more rewards by quitting the Gleaming Depths quest from the Pip-Boy menu, then reentering the Raid to find the boss once again.
