Best Low Cost Gleaming Depths Raid Build Guide Fallout 76

Fallout 76’s Gleaming Depths update brings in some new elements to this post-apocalyptic RPG. You can now explore the new Gleaming Depths raid, find new 4-Star legendary gear, and also pick up new CAMP pets. To face the new raid fight, which has multiple bosses to clear, you need the most optimal build to help you out. While most builds cater to the higher player levels, you will spot very few builds that lower-level players can use. We have come up with a low cost, low investment raid build that works in Gleaming Depths, and this guide will cover how to get the best low cost Gleaming Depths build in Fallout 76.

Fallout 76 Gleaming Depths Raid Build For Low Level Players

Anyone at level 50 and above can utilize this build to explore the Gleaming Depths raid, as it requires armor and perks that won’t be too expensive or high level. Let’s start with the weapons first, then work our way to the other sections on this list.

    Best Gleaming Depths Raid Weapon

We have a couple of weapon choices for the raid here, starting with the Vampire’s Prime Gauss Minigun. You get a 2% HP restoration over 2 seconds while hitting a target. Alongside that, you also get a 50% chance to hit V.A.T.S targets and 65% increased damage to Scorched. There is an increase in weapon damage by 15% when the bullets explode, so that adds to the 150 base damage the gun offers. You also benefit from the fast movement speed while aiming.

If this isn’t your thing, you can go for Holy Fire. This is another gun that restores 2% HP over 2 seconds, but offers better durability at 50%. While you don’t get movement speed, you do get a 25% increase in weapon speed instead. This is a pretty basic gun that will get you through the raids, with decent enough damage at 123 and good range at 288.

    Best Gleaming Depths Raid Armor

You can equip any Power Armor set as most sets will work for the raid, but we found the Union Power Armor to be best here. The Union Power Armor is a level 50 armor that offers +150 Poison Resistance when you have 6 pieces equipped. With this, you will need the Overeater legendary armor effect. Luckily, the Overeater is a 1-star mod, so you would have had them by now. Equip 5 pieces of this mod to selected armor pieces, and each piece will offer a 6% increase in Damage Reduction every time you fill up your thirst and hunger meter. With 5 pieces of the Overeater mod, you get a 30% increase.

    Best Gleaming Depths Raid Perks

While you can mix and match perks based on what you would like according to your build, we have found the below perks to be the best and most important ones to add to your decks.

    • Born Survivor: Automatically uses Stimpacks when below a certain amount of health.
    • Funky Duds: Increases poison damage resistance when wearing matching armor sets
    • Junk Shield: Gain resistance based on your LCK and amount of junk held.
    • Team Medic: Helps heal nearby teammates each time you take a Stimpack
    • Tenderizer: Increases damage received by targets after an attack.

The main takeaway from this build besides the low cost is that you get plenty of opportunities to heal yourself and also get some added damage boosts. This build is great for defending yourself when faced with the bosses within the Gleaming Depths raid, and you won’t have a hard time no matter what your level is in Fallout 76.
