He's been a fan of gaming ever since he was a young man and it spurred him into the industry.     Sam is the Editor-in-Chief of The GameSlayer and has over ten years of experience in video game journalism. He's the self appointed "Elden Lord" due to his love of Souls games and takes pride in still loving single-player games more than any other.11 Articles

    Sohan Dasgupta is a gaming and tech writer with 4+ years of experience across writing, editing, reviewing, and content management. He’s been gaming since he was five, growing up on story-driven classics like GTA, Bully, Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Max Payne, God of War, Mafia, and the original Resident Evil games, so it’s no surprise that narrative-rich single-player titles and RPGs are his comfort zone. While he occasionally jumps into Fortnite or Valorant sessions with friends, Sohan is most at home unwinding on his PS5 with a strong story-led experience (PlayStation exclusives are a definite bonus). His all-time favorites include Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last of Us, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Bully: Scholarship Edition, and The Witcher 3.     Elena Chapella (She/Her) is a current writer for multiple gaming outlets, formerly an award-winning journalist for local news stations and newspapers in central Indiana. Horror is a particular expertise of hers, with the Silent Hill and Resident Evil games being among her favourites (she also quite literally grew up with these games, having played the original titles on repeat since she was seven years old). Elena is passionate about writing, playing Dungeons & Dragons with her friends, and, of course, playing video games. When she's not writing, Elena is actually a high school teacher by day.
