In this article, we have put up all the details on how to reach the Zodiac Village in Black Myth Wukong.
How To Unlock Zodiac Village In Black Myth Wukong
The Zodiac Village in Black Myth Wukong is unlocked through a Ruyi Scroll handed over by Chen Loong located at the north end of the Bitter Lake Keeper’s Shrine in Chapter 3.
Getting Chen Loong to hand over the Scroll requires you to perform the following steps:
- Start from the Bitter Lake Keeper’s Shrine and proceed North. You will come across a creature in the snow lake, and a boss fight will begin as soon as you approach the creature.
- This boss turns out to be Chen Loong; this should not be a tough one at all.
- Once defeated, Chen Loong will request one of Xu Dog’s pills. By this time, you would have unlocked how to craft medicines. Return to Xu Dog in the cellar of Crouching Tiger Temple and talk with him.
- He will hand over the pills and a Fortifying Medicament Formula. Take those pills to Chen Loong and he will hand over the Ruyi Scroll.
- Open up the Ruyi Scroll to be transported to the Zodiac Village in the Painted Realm.

Armor can be upgraded to Uncommon, Rare, and then finally to Epic Rarity; with each stage requiring that much more difficult-to-find resources to upgrade.
- Uncommon: Silk.
- Rare: Silk, Cold Iron Leaves.
- Epic: Cold Iron Leaves, Fine Gold Thread.
How To Unlock Additional Curio Slot In Black Myth Wukong
You can unlock an additional Curio slot by challenging and defeating Yin Tiger – the Blacksmith at Zodiac Village. Interact with him and select ‘Challenge’. Yin Tiger wields an awesome-looking greatsword, and in the early part of the boss fight the moves will be slow and telegraphed for you to be able to dodge pretty easily. As the fight proceeds, he will light his sword on fire, and that is when you will need to watch out for his attacks. He will not stagger easily, and while your attacks will cause damage he will still go with his combo/attack, so keep that in mind. One attack that you need to watch out for is when he disappears and then reappears to slam his sword – he does that multiple times before the combo is done with, and this can inflict massive damage. While his combos can span the entire area, he has a bit of time in between the combos where if you happen to be around him; you can unleash your best attacks as well.
Once defeated, you unlock the Ebon Flow transformation spell; and more importantly – you can now approach him to unlock a third Curio slot!
