Panda Hat in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
You need to locate one particular Panda vendor in Cloudspire and collect 5x Bamboo Shoots to exchange them for the Panda Hat. Let’s look first at all locations to get Bamboo Shoots, and then exactly how to reach the vendor.
Early Game Bamboo Shoot Locations In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Bamboo Shoots are dropped by unique green and orange colored enemies called Bamboozlings, and you need to find and defeat 5 of these critters to collect 5 Bamboo Shoots to trade for the Panda Hat.
Bamboo Shoot Location #1
The first Bamboozling encounter is found around Worship’s Rise, after defeating the first boss near the Lightzen Temple shrine. From the shrine, turn around and exit through the doorway. Keep to your right and you will spot a Bamboozling running away.
Bamboo Shoot Location #2
Continue down the path after defeating the first Bamboozling. The second Bamboozling can be found right outside the cave where a Panda vendor is. While this particular Panda won’t have the hat in their inventory, you can still purchase the Steampowered Spear if you wish.
Bamboo Shoot Location #3
The third Bamboo Shoot will be handed to you by the Storyteller NPC sitting in the same cave as the Panda. Speak to him twice to get it.
Bamboo Shoot Location #4
For the fourth Bamboo Shoot, head over to Mercury Workshop shrine and go down the flesh covered path beside the shrine. Stick to your left and go through the doorway, then continue left. Turn right at the end of the road and climb up the ladder. Head left, turn right, and continue up the flesh covered path. Keep going right to find a Bamboozling to defeat.
Bamboo Shoot Location #5
The last Bamboozling can be found near Doomwillow Beach shrine. From the shrine, turn around and continue down the path and go right. You will find a red pond, from the pond go left. Continue down the path past the fire pits to find a ladder.
Go down the path on the right, across the twig-like bridge, and follow the path downwards beside the large red tree. While going down the path, keep your eyes on the right, as there will be a sharp cut on the road here. Be careful of the zombies that spawn on the ground, at the end of this path is the Bamboozling.
Panda Vendor Location
There is one particular Panda who will trade the Bamboo Shoots for the Panda Hat. To find him, head to the Snowfall Palace Shrine in Cloudspire. This shrine is towards the end sections of the region. From the shrine, head up the large stairs and go right. Follow along the passage to find a switch on the wall. Pull it to call an elevator. Once you reach the ground floor, explore the room to find the Panda vendor. There are 3 Panda Vendors in the game, and it is highly recommended to find them all, since their inventory does not repeat and they offer pretty unique items.
