The only known way to find Onion in Once Human is through planting Onion Seeds. The easiest place to purchase Onion Seeds is the vendor in Tall Grass Inn in the Chalk Peak region.
After you teleport to Tall Grass Inn, you need to:
- Reach to the center of the Tall Grass Inn.
- Take a left and climb the stairs of a cafe you encounter on your way.
- As you continue climbing the stairs, go around the cliff as see a large sign.
- Enter the house to your right.
- You will find a vendor named Emma Potter at the front desk.
- Go ahead and buy onion seeds from her.
The vendor sells a max of 3 Onion Seeds per week, so keep that in mind.
Growing Onions in Once Human
Once you have bought onion seeds from Emma, you need to grow them. Keep in mind, that not all onion seeds will turn into onions, some might mutate into, you guessed it, Deviants! It always remains a possibility of any onion seed turning into the Grumpy Bulb Deviant.
To grow onions/Grumpy Bulb Deviant you need to follow this simple process:
- Purchase onion seeds from Emma.
- Plant the seeds in your Territory’s Loamy Soil, or if you have upgraded; in the Planter Box.
- Wait for the onions to mature. During this phase you want to keep an eye out for deviant onions.
So, the process of growing onions and Grumpy Bulb is basically the same. Once you have grown your onions, you can start using them in recipes.
Uses Of Onion in Once Human
