The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will test your limits as you encounter enemies and explore the world. Once you exit the Imperial City sewers, you can find a unique dungeon called Vilverin. Inside the dungeon, you will come across a puzzle that is pretty hard to figure out. This guide will explain how to solve the Wendesel block puzzle in Oblivion Remastered.
Vilverin Dungeon Location Oblivion Remastered
Right after you exit the sewers, head north to find the Vilverin dungeon. You need to keep an eye out for some ruins and a door with a strange pattern. Interact with the door to be led down deep into the dungeon. The dungeon is filled with bandits and traps, so be prepared before you go deeper.
Wendesel Block Puzzle Solution
The Wendesel block puzzle can be found by going northwest inside the dungeon. You will find a Stone Door to the Vilverin Wendesel, go through it and head south to find the puzzle room. There are two pillars in front of you with three blocks on each pillar. You need to press the right block and unlock a door with a treasure chest. Picking the wrong block will unleash enemies that are hiding behind the many doors in the room.
The correct block to pick is the topmost one on the right side pillar. Pressing this block unlocks a door on the far right corner. You will spot a chest containing the Vilverin Chamber Key, and this key will unlock the door ahead to exit the room and explore the rest of the dungeon. Another way to unlock this door is to lockpick it, but solving the puzzle is an easier way since you obtain a key for the door anyways.
Before you leave the room, it is best to take your time and defeat the enemies behind all the locked doors by pressing the blocks on the pillars, as you can find some treasure inside these rooms.
