The Valley Pirates is a friendship quest for Peter Pan in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Mystery of the Black Rock update. To start this quest, players must be at Friendship Level 10 with Peter Pan. Completing the Valley Pirates quest rewards players with themed furniture, a new outfit item, and concludes Peter Pan’s storyline for this update. We have put up for you here a complete guide on the Valley Pirates quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Start The Valley Pirates Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start the Valley Pirates quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, head to Scrooge McDuck’s General Store and purchase the Black and Red Top Hat and equip it. Although only the hat is required, you can complete the pirate outfit by selecting wardrobe items tagged with “Valley Pirates,” “Traditional,” “Bold,” or “Quirky.”

Speak to Peter Pan and Find Eric

After wearing the hat, talk to Peter Pan. He will ask you to find Prince Eric, who is acting as “Eric the Meek.” Eric can be found inside Olaf’s Cave, located in Frosted Heights.

Use your Royal Pickaxe to clear four ice spikes blocking the entrance. Once inside, speak to Eric, and he will reveal that he doesn’t know the password to the pirate base. But he will advise you to meet his First Mate for more information.

Visit the Dreamscape and Bribe the First Mate

Enter the Dreamscape through the treehouse portal in the Forgotten Lands. Inside, find the Fairy Godmother, who is acting as the First Mate. She demands a bribe to give up information.

Collect 5 minerals of any kind and 10 gold nuggets and give them to her. Minerals can be mined from rocks in various biomes, while gold nuggets are more common in the Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and Frosted Heights.

    Access Skull Rock

After delivering the bribe, she will tell you that the pirate hideout is inside Skull Rock. Go there and speak to Ariel, who is acting as a pirate guard.

She will quiz you about the password. Respond with the correct answer: something related to “gold” and “grit” (a play on sand). Once the answer is accepted, you will gain entry.

Navigate Past Spotlights and Lost Boys

Inside Skull Rock, you will come across rotating spotlight beams. These act as traps, and touching one will teleport you back to a previous checkpoint.

Use gliding, sprinting, or slow movement depending on the situation to avoid being caught in the beams. The Lost Boys NPCs will not give you any trouble, so your focus should solely be on dodging the lights and progressing further.

At the top of Skull Rock, you will reach the music room. The Forgotten appears as the pirate captain here. You will engage in a dialogue-based sword duel with him. You can choose any response; it does not matter, so go with your choices until The Forgotten admits defeat. After the duel, you will be rewarded with a key to the treasure chest.

Unlock the Treasure and Complete the Quest

Use the key to open the treasure chest. Inside it, you will find a pouch containing several Valley Pirate–themed furniture items, which can be placed around your village. Place the items as instructed. Then, complete the quest by taking a selfie with Peter Pan, The Forgotten, and the Lost Boys.
