Throne & Liberty, the MMORPG from NCSoft and Amazon Games has been enjoying its time under the sun since the game was released on Sep 26. The game has all the recognizable mechanics of the genre: various regions, a lot of quests, gear & weapons, build possibilities, and so on. Traces Of The Missing will have you complete the following steps:
- Collect a page from Collection: Expedition Records: Syleus’s Abyss 1F-2F
- Investigate the Decayed Coffin
- Defeat Spectermancer
- Defeat Spectral Shadowmancer
Let’s go through each of these and see how to complete the objectives
Collect A Page From Collection: Expedition Records: Syleus’s Abyss
Syleus’s Abyss is located north of Red Moon Lake & northwest of Carmine Forest. As soon as you enter the Abyss, you should find a Mysterious Note lying on the ground on your right, on the 1st floor itself. Approach and collect it, and with that the first part of the Traces of the Missing quest is complete. The Note talks about the emergence of Spectermancers and something even stronger than them that emerged from Magic Circles.
Investigate The Decayed Coffin
The Decayed Coffin is also located very conveniently for us on the same floor in Syleus’ Abyss. The room on the right of the place where you got the Mysterious Note will have 1 Decayed Coffin to interact with and mark as done. You may have to deal with a few Dark Skeleton Soldiers before you are left alone to interact with the Decayed Coffin, so keep that in mind. Once you have done that, proceed ahead and take a right to find the second Decayed Coffin. With that, the second objective is complete, and we have the fights with Spectermancer & Spectral Shadowmancer left.
Defeat Spectermancer
We found the Spectermancer on the 2nd floor, on one of the rooms at the edge of the Abyss. The boss will be surrounded by Dark Skeleton Archers & Soldiers. Fortunately, we also had backup, and the fight was done and dusted pretty easily. The second Spectermancer will also spawn from the green glowing portal.
Defeat Spectral Shadowmancer
The Spectral Shadowmancer will also spawn on the 2nd floor. For us, it spawned in the exact same location as the Spectermancer, but if not, you can try out the other rooms and corridors in the second floor especially the ones on the corners of the map, and one of them should spawn the Spectral Shadowmancer. This will be a level 24 enemy, so you may want to assess how ready you are for this fight. In any case, this is a 2-person Codex, so taking along a friend makes this easier.
The surest sign that Spectermancers or Spectral Shadowmancers will spawn are green or blue portals: the green one means Spectermancers will spawn, and blue means Spectral Shadowmancers.
