Throne and Liberty boasts of owning tons of dungeons across various regions in the game. Most dungeons are extremely challenging while dealing with the boss inside them. But fighting them is worth it, as you can get some elusive rewards from their defeat. The Doomrot Grove dungeon is a 3-Star Dimensional Circle dungeon that is home to the Norn Bercant boss. This guide will show you how to easily clear the dungeon in Throne and Liberty.
How To Beat Norn Bercant In Throne and Liberty
Norn Bercant is the main boss within Doomrot Grove, and you need to defeat her to get all the rewards. Her mechanics remain mostly the same as you go through the different tiers of the dungeon, but you might have to tweak your gameplay a bit depending on the dungeon difficulty. Here, we will discuss all of Norn Berchant’s moves and how to win the fight.
Tree Wall Mechanic
The main takeaway from this fight is to figure out how to bypass the tree wall mechanic. During the fight, Norn Bercant will place a seed hat on one or several players. These players with the seed will then summon a huge tree wall that will protect them from damage. To utilize the full potential of the tree wall, first, place three markers in the shape of a triangle. Next, have all the seeded and non-seeded players within this triangle facing the middle while standing close together.
Ensure that everyone is between the placed markers that form a triangle and stop all auto attacks to the boss for the time being. After a while, the tree walls will appear behind the player, and it will form a triangular barrier around all the players within it. The walls will appear horizontally behind the player with the seed, so you need to get your formation correct to complete the barrier. Slight gaps within the barrier will make it easier for the boss to attack you, so be sure to stay close together.
Rain Sprinkler
Some of the players will have red or pink seeds over their heads, and these players should run around the arena to find sprinklers to put out the seed. During the easier tiers of the dungeon, you can easily find these golden sprinklers around the edge of the arena. But in Tier 5, they are invisible, and it will appear once you get close to them. Just run around the arena’s edge till they automatically appear before you.
Poison Traps
These are easy to spot, as they will appear as green rings under random players. These rings will detonate after a short while, and whoever is on them will be dealt damage. You can quickly side step away from the rings, as they will not follow you around. Just keep an eye on the floor and move away whenever they appear. During the more difficult tiers, the green circles will appear twice.
Wrath Attacks and Poison AoE
A purple diamond will appear on the boss, and if you see it you need to roll away immediately. You can also cast a defensive skill while on the move so Norn Bercant can’t hit you. Immediately after, she might release a circular wave of poison that will sweep across the arena. You can jump up when the circle returns to Norn Becant to avoid it.
Thorn Launch Attack
There will be several red lines on the arena ground that will form a star shape. For this one, first, cast a defensive barrier, something that can cover you and your allies. That’s because before this move, everyone will be applied with a healing debuff, making it impossible to heal. Then, you will be launched into the air, where you need to glide down between the red lines that are close to each other. You will get hit by a red seed that will pass through this passage, and the healing debuff will be removed.
Between these attacks, keep aiming and hitting the boss with your best attacks while avoiding the shrubs and green circles on the ground. With all players working together, you can easily defeat Norn Bercant and clear the dungeon.
