How To Start Evidence Of Corruption Exploration Codex
To begin the quest, head towards the Temple of Sylaveth, north of the Stone Guards Castle. The character level should be at least level 29 to access this dungeon. However, it is recommended to be of a higher level, or have a friend along before attempting this dungeon. The dungeon floor has two floors, but only the first floor is related to this quest.
The enemies on the floor are of lower level, but their spawn rate is very high, so there is a high chance of getting overwhelmed if you are doing this dungeon solo or are lower-ranked.
Objectives For The Evidence Of Corruption Quest In Throne And Liberty
This Evidence of Corruption quest consists of three objectives to complete:
- Destroy 5 Jars of Dead
- Collect Expedition Records: Temple of Sylaveth
- Defeat the Dark Specter 3 times
Destroying The Jar Of Dead
This is one of the easiest parts of this three-part quest. These jars are small, vase-like objects and are scattered along the floor, wall and the pillars of the first floor. You can destroy these vases with a single hit.
Collecting Expedition Record: Temple Of Sylaveth
The Expedition Record is located on the right side of the first hall on the temple’s first floor, close to the second stone statue. Interact with it to collect the page.
How To Defeat The Dark Specter In Evidence Of Corruption Codex
The hardest part of this codex is defeating the Dark Specter. It doesn’t spawn like the regular enemies. Instead, the Dark Specter is tied to blue coloured-orbs that appear in the temple’s main halls. To summon the Dark Specter, you need to defeat many enemies near those orbs to change them.
Once that happens, the blue orb will vanish and a Dark Specter will appear in its place. These blue orbs are not very common, so you might need to make multiple visits to the dungeon, to summon the Dark Specter
The Dark Specter deals major melee damage with its claws. The moveset thankfully is not very difficult and easy to remember. A Greatsword / Sword and Shield build, or a ranged one with high damage attacks should be good enough to defeat these easily.
