The world of Solisium in Throne and Liberty is expansive, and as such you will find plenty to do while exploring the many regions and visiting the settlements within. There are tons of NPCs located around the areas who require your help completing certain codex quests. Once you reach the Ruins of Turayne, there are a bunch of codex that you can pick up and help the NPCs to earn some rewards.
One such codex is the For Whom the Bell Tolls, which requires you to locate all four Bell Towers around the Ruins of Turayne and ring them. Not only is it challenging to locate all the Bell Towers, but you will have a hard time trying to make it up there. In this guide we have shown you how to complete the For Whom the Bell Tolls Codex in Throne and Liberty.
For Whom The Bell Tolls Codex Objectives In Throne And Liberty
After you reach the Ruins of Turayne, you can find the Discouraged Stonemason at the above marked location. The Stonemason is located just east of Tevent Temple and northeast of the Elter Guard Post. After talking to the Stonemason, you have to complete the following objectives:
- Ring the bell in the first, second, third and fourth Bell Towers at the Ruins of Turayne.
- Talk to the Discouraged Stonemason at Ruins of Turayne.
Ruins Of Turayne How To Reach Bell # 1
For the first Bell Tower, make your way to the Ruins of Turayne fast travel point and head a bit southeast. To get up the Bell Tower, first go up the stairs beside the tower. Once you reach the platform, you will find a grapple point near the Bell Tower. Use it to get up there and ring the first bell.
Ruins Of Turayne How To Reach Bell # 2
From the Ruins of Turayne waypoint, head directly south to find the second Bell Tower. The bell on the second tower is located too high up, so you need to find a vantage point and use a glide mount to get up there. Luckily there is a building nearby that can help you achieve that, so make your way further south down the path and climb up the rocky wall on your left.
You will be facing east at this point, and you will spot an old building at the north side. There is a grapple point on the building that you can use to get up there, and from the top just use the glide mount to reach and ring the second bell.
Ruins Of Turayne How To Reach Bell # 3
Now head west from the Ruins of Turayne waypoint and you will run into the third bell tower. Getting up this tower can be a bit more complicated than the earlier towers, but there are two ways to get up there.
For the first method, head a bit north from the bell tower and make your way up the hill to find a building and a wooden platform. Head up the stairs of the wooden platform, get up on the stone wall, and then jump across to the building nearby. Make your way up the roof, then face the bell tower from up there.
You should not glide directly towards the bell tower, but rather glide towards the wall next to the tower. You need to try and land on the wall rather than inside the bell tower. While gliding, pay attention to the Up arrow on your glide meter, then activate it once you are close to the wall. This will give you an additional height boost, and you can finally land on the wall. From there, walk slowly towards the bell and ring it.
For the second method, make your way up the watchtower located to the west of the bell tower. Keep going up the stairs to reach the roof of the watchtower, then glide towards the bell tower to ring the third bell.
Ruins Of Turayne How To Reach Bell # 4
The final bell tower is located northwest of the Ruins of Turayne waypoint. From the bell tower, head west and go up the hill beside the tower. Once you head all the way up the hill, glide towards the final bell tower and ring the bell. Return to the Discouraged Stonemason back at the same location as the start of the quest to complete the For Whom the Bell Tolls Codex in Throne and Liberty.
