The Unfinished Expedition in Once Human is a complex side quest that requires you to solve challenging puzzles. This expedition requires you to retrieve secret documents and uncover the secrets of Rosetta. This guide uncovers the quest location and simplified walkthrough steps to help you ace the challenge.

Once Human Unfinished Expedition Location

The Once Human Unfinished Expedition unfolds right after you reach the Lighthouse near Meyer’s Market in the Broken Delta Region. Once you have reached the lighthouse, you need to climb to the top floor and access the Expedition Notes. This will further point out three different areas of interest on the map:

• Coast Near The Lighthouse
• Rosetta Army Base
• Rosetta Laboratory

1. Retrieving Security Records

Your first area of interest in Once Human Unfinished Expedition is situated on a ship just by the coast near the Lighthouse itself. You can reach here by sliding down from the Lighthouse. Alternatively, you can also make it to the ship by climbing the nearby tower from your location and gliding your way. Once you have reached the ship, head to the front area and start investigating. You will retrieve the Environmental Security Records here.

Here’s how to clear this area and get the records:

1. Approach the map pointers from the Lighthouse.
2. Eliminate the Rosetta Agenta that are guarding the dock.
3. You will see the marker on the hull of a half-sunken ship (50 meters offshore).
4. Climb the mini lighthouse with the ladder towards the right of the dock.
5. Glide and reach the ship.
6. You will find the Environmental Security Records on the front deck.

2. Retrieving Medical Records

Now, you need to head to the Hospital by following the markers and reach Rosetta Laboratory. Go to the computer to solve a rotating pieces puzzle. You need to adjust all the pieces until they form an aligned image. Doing so will grant you access to Rosetta’s medical records:

1. Follow the map pointers to the Rosetta base on the island beneath the Lighthouse.
2. Now, locate the hospital with a locked glass. Unfortunately, it’s locked and requires a key to open.
3. Go to the fenced-off landing pad with a helicopter to the right.
4. Engage with the shielded enemy to obtain the Rosetta V2 Access.
5. Use the access card to unlock the glass door and climb up the stairs.
6. Interact with the Medical Records terminal, revealing a circular puzzle.
7. You need to rotate the three icons on the right to align each layer of the circle until the numbered part gets activated.
8. Finally, interact with the complete puzzle to acquire the medical records.

3. Solve Optical Puzzle

After finding the Security Records, you need to reach the Rosetta Army Base. Reach the base of the building, this area has an Optical Puzzle waiting for you. You need to match a picture with its other half to complete it. One part of the picture is located on the building while the other one is at the shipping container. Match the picture to uncover a hidden path. Follow this path and you will find the second document awaiting you:

1. Proceed past the hospital to reach the Rosetta Army Base.
2. The map pointers take you into a building that lacks doors.
3. Enter inside the building from the Army Base Entrance Gate.
4. Reaching here, you will notice two halves of a picture where a girl in a garden is located on the side with a storage crate by the side.
5. Line up the pictures perfectly, this will reveal a hidden door to you. You need to align your character to a specific spot in order to align the pictures perfectly.
6. Once the picture is aligned successfully,it will disappear, leaving behind a door. Following the door will lead you to the last document required to fulfill this challenge, the Army Records!

Once you have retrieved all three documents, you need to head back to Meyer’s Market and hand over the documents to Claire/Maxie.
