The intel system in Star Wars Outlaws is a breath of fresh air for the people who want to solve mysteries to get to the reward. Ubisoft took it a step further by applying the intel system to the upgrades as well, most of the powerful upgrades are hidden behind the wall of the intel system. You will need to obtain a specific part found in the world, only then you will be able to upgrade your Blaster or your Speeder. This guide will focus on the Burst injector and BT-2X Charger Controller in Star Wars Outlaws.
First, we are going to focus on getting the Burst Injector and then, we will find the location of the BT-2X Charge Controller. The Burst Injector will be crucial to building the Bacta Injector, and the BT-2X Charge Controller will be needed to craft the Power-Bolt upgrade for Blaster.
Star Wars Outlaws Burst Injector Location
- Located south of Jundland Wastes, go through the tunnel south of Seeker’s Peril, the route will take you to an open area with many roads heading in all directions. Here you will have to look for a climbable wall (located to your right).
- Take the path straight ahead, then turn left you will find another climbable wall. Grab the climbable ledges to get to the top. Once you are at the top, use your grappling hook to jump across the gap.
- Here you will find the NPC Pinota Pakinota Jawa Merchant. He will sell us the Burst Injector. You will need 9x Durasteel and 3x 4XB Calculation Unit to exchange for the Burst Injector.
Burst Injector will allow for fast injection, owning the upgrade is crucial for your action-packed playthrough.
Star Wars Outlaws BT-2X Charge Controller Location
- Head to the northwest of South Jundland Wastes, while the treasure is in the northwest location of the west of Ancient Creature’s Lair, but to get to the location we will have to go through the tunnel on the south (south of Pinota Pakinota Jawa Merchant).
- Look at the picture below to find out the exact location of the tunnel. Take the speeder through the tunnel, the route is straight ahead.
- Eventually, you will reach a point, where you will need the Speed Boost ability to jump across the gap. Once you are on the other side of the ledge, get off the speeder, and climb the wall in front of you. After you make it to the top, turn around, and you will find another climbable wall.
- After you reach the higher ground, take a left turn. Jump and then climb up on the walls, look up, and you will see some metal bars, grab them to get to the top.
- Once you have made it to the ledge above, jump across the gap on the left and keep moving forward until you arrive at the ledge, you will find the material Black Melon x1.
- The treasure we are looking for is hiding behind a door with lights on it. The lights here need to turn from Red to Green to open the door for us. So we can get inside and loot the BT-2X Charge Controller.
- Here we have to destroy three Electric Nodes, each one of which is connected with wires, you can look at the wires to track the nodes here.
- First Electric Node: From the ledge look below to your left, you will find the first Electric Node. There is a wire connecting to the node to make it easier to track. Here switch to the Ion Blaster Module to hit the node.
- Second Electric Node: Turn around from the ledge, don’t move. You will see an area filled with dust, barely visible, the second Electric Node hiding behind the dust cloud. The node can be found a bit to the top right.
- Third Electric Node: Now from the ledge look down to your right, you will find the last Electric Node.
Note: All the nodes need to be hit in quick succession without any delay. Make sure to track all of them first before blasting them off with the Ion Module.
- After you shoot all of them, take right from the ledge, and you will find a grappling point to rappel down. To your left, you will find the door to our Treasure BT-2X Charge Controller.
You will need 1x BT-2X Charge Controller, 10x MG-2 Power Exceeder, and lastly, 20x Durasteel to craft the Power-Bolt upgrade for our Blaster.
