When you see something extraordinary such as a Jukebox in Silent Hill, it’s not about playing romantic music or making James dance with upbeat tracks. It’s always going to be part of a larger puzzle. In the remake, you will have to repair a Jukebox to continue our quest to find Mary. The reason why this puzzle takes the cake here, it is one of the largest puzzles in the game, a great introduction to what you will be doing for the later section of the game. How To Fix The Jukebox At Neely’s Bar In Silent Hill 2 Remake
We need to gather three items to fix the broken jukebox: Neely’s Bar Coin, 2 Broken Vinyl Records, and a Jukebox Button. Once you have gathered all three items to fix the Jukebox then we can start the party. We will need two pieces of Broken Vinyl Records and Glue to obtain the Glued Up Vinyl record.
Note: The solution for the puzzle works on all three difficulties, Easy, Normal, and Hard. If you are playing the game on Hard or Easy, or Standard, the solution mentioned in the article will work on all three difficulties. Let’s have a look at how to find all the items one by one.
Location For Neely’s Bar Coin
Location: Texan Cafe
Here get to the Texan Cafe located east of Martin St. Get inside the cafe, go behind the counter. Interact with the cash register to get the coin.
- First, you have to flip the key on the Cash Register.
- Then press the button ‘Cash’ below to activate it.
Location For First Broken Vinyl Record
Location: Neely’s Bar
Take the cloth off the Jukebox inside Neely’s Bar. Interact with it to get the Broken Vinyl Record. Here we will receive only one-half of the Vinyl Record. We will need another Vinyl Record along with some strong glue to complete the Vinyl for the Jukebox.
Location For Second Broken Vinyl Record Piece And Vinyl Glue
Location: Groovy Music Record Store
Head to the Groovy Music Store, located north of Neely St. Get inside the store, pass the records until you reach the glass wall, and break the glass vault over the wall to get inside the room.
Here you will see a table with three red chairs in front of you. We will find the Vinyl Glue on the table. On the same table, you will find the Broken Vinyl Record Piece.
Open your inventory, and now combine the 1st Broken Vinyl Record with the 2nd Broken Vinyl Record with Vinyl Glue. Once you combine all three items, you will receive a Glued Up Vinyl Record.
Location For Jukebox Button
Location: Saul Street Apartments
- Enter the apartment through the door located right next to the Green Pharmacy. Here push the cabinet on the right, next to the board with the map.
- Take the doorway on the right, you will find the Apartment Key on the rack, on the left wall of the room.
- Head to the Second Floor, and open the door to Room 5 with the Apartment Key. Go through the broken wall on the right.
- You will hear loud thumping noises, don’t mind that, go through another broken wall on the right. This will put us outside the building, Here take the stairs to the floor above. Near the end, hurdle over the half-open window.
Make your way to the bathroom, here you will find a giant hole on the right of the mirror. You know what to do, shove your entire hand into the wall until you find the Jukebox Button.
Solving The Jukebox Puzzle
Now that we have all three items, Jukebox Button, Glued Up Broken Vinyl, and Neely’s Coin, we are ready to solve the Jukebox Puzzle.
- First, we need to bring up the Record Holder towards us. So push the lever down to rotate the Record Holder.
- Now use the Glued Up Broken Vinyl Record on the Record Holder. This will pull up the entire records to the top of the Jukebox.
- Look at the panel on the left, one of the keys will be missing, right under the A, B, and C keys. Here use the ‘2’Jukebox Button.
- Now look at the coin slot on the right of the Jukebox, here use Neely’s Bar Coin.
Now to solve the Puzzle, from the letter panel, push “C” and then “2” on the number panel. A cutscene will soon play out, as the Jukebox drops Neely’s Bar Key. This can now be used to open the door near the save point.
