PowerWash Simulator 2 is not just about cleaning dirty surfaces, tough stains, muck and grim, but it also features a few secrets located in areas where you least expect them. One of these secrets is the hidden gnome that’s found very early on, and unlocks an easy Trophy/Achievement.

The hidden gnome is located inside the room upstairs with the giant map, behind the door that leads at the home base in PowerWash Simulator 2. This is the room where you accept jobs from. Once you head into the room, turn back to face the open door with the stairs leading downwards. Close the door to find the red-hatted gnome on the right.

The home base is one of the very first locations you’ll visit in the game. Inside the base, you can clean interior decorations, purchase furniture, accept jobs and other missions, and customize it the way you want to. This means you don’t have to wait to find the hidden gnome. Once you get to your home base, you can find this red-hatted critter instantly, hiding behind the door to the room upstairs.

Gnomes have no functionality per se, but they can be carried around and placed wherever you please for customization and personalization purposes. All you have to do is get up close and interact with the gnome. Of course, they won’t interact with you since they’re statues, but you’ll be able to carry them, take them anywhere you want and place them either inside or outside the home base.

There are multiple gnomes located inside the home base, as well as outside, but this is the one that’s hidden most effectively. It’s in a location where you visit very frequently, but can easily be turned a blind eye since it’s hidden behind the door, where you’ll hardly check. You get no reward for finding this hidden gnome, but you do progress the game’s Trophy/Achievement completion.

Once you’ve interacted with the gnome in the room upstairs at the home base, pick him up to unlock the “Gnome From Home” Trophy/Achievement in PowerWash Simulator 2. This will count towards the game’s complete Trophy/Achievement progression, so this gnome isn’t that useless after all. Apart from customization purposes, it also serves a progression purpose.

Interact with the door to close it, then pick up the gnome to unlock this Trophy/Achievement. That’s all you need to know about finding the secret hidden gnome in PowerWash Simulator 2. For more guides on this satisfying title, check out the one on How Does Soap Work.
