Poppy Playtime is an indie break-out hit, as its horror puzzles have left many clueless. One of the objectives in the game will have you trying to Find a Way Out of No Man’s Land, and this requires a bit more than just pressing the button. And in this guide, we plan to help you exactly with that in Poppy Playtime.
Objective: Find A Way Out Of No Man’s Land
You will arrive in a room with the button on the ground and the objective will display “Find a Way Out of No Man’s Land.” Here we will need to open the steel gate on the right next to the Red Shutter. For that, we will need to grab a Keycard and activate the power.
Activate the Power
- You will see four wires coming out of the button in the middle. On the button panel, three arrow marks and one blue marker will be imprinted on the surface. Follow the wire coming out of the blue marker to get to the first objective.
- Squeeze through the narrow gap, and you will see the wire connected to a terminal. Pull down the lever on their terminal to activate it. The wire from the terminal instead of red will immediately turn blue (filled with electricity) signaling its activation. Now head back to the button location so we can grab the keycard for the door.
Grab The Keycard


- Now the button is activated from the power source. Press it to power the Red Shutter next to it. Once the Red shutter opens, head inside, and grab the Keycard next to the green teddy bear.
- Now go back to the button location, you will find the keycard terminal next to the Red Shutter. Insert the Keycard and then press the button in the middle to open the steel gate next to it.
Jumping off the Conveyor Belt
- Head inside, you will see the blue wire powering the conveyor belt in the room. Climb up the stairs and get on the conveyor belt. There is nothing you can do here, just look up and eventually, you will see a lever on the ceiling. You will need to grab the lever before the belt rolls back.
Activate the Power to the Button


- Once you land on the floor, follow the red wires on the walls and they will take you to a new giant Button (deactivated) in the room (same as the last one). To activate the power to the button, pull the lever to the terminal in the corner of the room. Once activated, the button will have two blue wire sources. Both wires at the bottom will have power.
- Press the button until you see electricity flowing on the wires coming out of the top left and bottom left of the panel. Once the wires left of the button get electricity, the Red Shutter next to the room will unlock.
- Go through the Red Shutter and you will find a Scanner on the wall to your left. Use your hand to scan it to open the door next to it. Head downstairs and pull the lever on the machine to activate the electricity in the room. We will receive a new objective “Power Up Machine Stations via Hand Scanners Three Times.”

The goal here is simple, we need to send electricity on all the wires in the room. By activating the main terminal, we have enabled the electricity, but the wires are separated with giant scanner machines, we must use our hands to scan the machines to allow the flow of electricity on the wires.
- Now follow the wire from the machine where we pulled the lever until you come across a scanning machine. Use your hand to scan the machine so the electricity can flow through the wire (1/3).
- Follow the wire from the scanner, and it will lead you to another scanner upstairs, on the second floor. Here again, use your hand to activate the scanner to send the electricity forward (2/3).
- Follow the electric wire and it will lead you downstairs, use your hand to activate the last scanning machine to continue the flow of electricity (3/3). This will complete “Power Up Machine Stations via Hand Scanners Three Times”, our new objective will be “Find a Way Out of No Man’s Land”.

- Now make your way to the button area, press the button to send the electricity to the wire on the top right of the panel. Here we follow the wire (top right) and it will take you to the terminal outside.
- Press the Red Button on the terminal to activate the power to the wire coming from the front. Follow the wire and it will take you to a new button right above the slope. Press the button to activate the machine near it, which will activate the bridge. However, once the bridge is activated, the button will malfunction.
Fix the Malfunctioning Button


Objective: Here we must activate the terminal down the bridge.
- Go down the bridge we just opened, pass the terminal on the left, and after a bit of walking you will come across a door on your right but the panel next to it requires a lever. Remember the location, as we will come back after we find a suitable lever for it.
- Continue along the same path until you end up in a red room. In this room, you will find the Steel Lever on a yellow toy next to the blood-stained wall.
- Now head back to the door we encountered earlier, and use the steel lever to activate the door. Head inside, and squeeze through the narrow gap on the left.
- Go down the stairs, and activate the terminal by pulling down the lever on it. This will send electricity to the wire coming out of it. Next to the terminal, you will find a Keycard lying on the chair, grab the card.
- Follow the wire from the terminal until you come across the button on the ground, press the button to send the power to the wire on the right.
- Use the Keycard to activate the terminal to send the power to the malfunctioning button.
Now walk up the bridge and you will find the malfunctioning button is fixed, now follow the wire from it to find another button ahead. Press it to activate the Red Shutter in the front. Inside, you will find the final terminal to your left, use your hand to pull down the lever to activate the terminal.
Now just follow the wire and you will finally arrive at the final door. Use both of your hands to open the gate. And voila you have finished the objective.
