Path of Exile 2 has been a blast for many fans, and the early access period of the game has shown how incredible the entire game feels to play. The hidden side quests are another interesting part of the game, while they may not feel or look much when you get to the end, the rewards and the boss fight will be worth the journey. Here we are going to cover how to get the Raging Spirits skill in Path of Exile 2.
How To Get Raging Spirits Skill In Path Of Exile 2
We must finish the side quest Ominous Altars and defeat King in the Mists Boss to get the Raging Spirits Skill.
Summoning Raging Spirits does exactly what you think, they attack nearby enemies and deal fire damage. Since you can summon ten of them at the same time, there will be chaos on the battlefield. While they do last for a short time the damage dealing is what steals the show here. It will greatly help you in the battle. Without further ado, here is the way you can get the skill.
Ominous Altars Quest Overview
Location: Freythorn
Area Level: 11,
Act Details: Act 1
- To start the quest, head over to the Clearfell Encampment and talk to Finn to kick off the first phase of Ominous Altars. The very first objective of the side quest will be to head over to an area called Freythorn and cleanse all the Ritual Altars. We have to go through Hunting Grounds to get to the Freythorn.
- Head over to Hunting Grounds and look for the area to Freythorn. When you are in the Freythorn area, our next objective is to find three ritual altars scattered throughout the area. Activating all three rituals will bring the King in the Mist boss.
- We can’t give you the proper details of the ritual because the game follows the RNG mechanics to its map details. But all the ritual locations will be easy to find in the area.
- Explore the Freythorn region until you uncover all three rituals, every time you activate an altar, enemies will spawn right away. Once you have finished activating all three ritual altars, it’s time to face the boss.
- You will find the boss in the large circular area, you can’t interact with the area here without activating all the rituals.
How To Defeat King In The Mists Boss
Location: Freythorn
Resistances: Physical and Chaos
Weakness: None
Damage Dealings: Physical and Chaos
Debuff Lists: Ritual of Dance, Ritual of Meditation, Boiling Blood, Maim, and Soulrend.
Here we recommend a ranged build that will fit perfectly into the battle, it’s one of the bosses where a melee build will make the game feel harder than usual. It is better to stay far away from the boss when he does his combo, which usually ends with a spiky shockwave.
- Red Rune Attack: A red rune that will follow you around until you get rooted. The best way to handle this scenario is to get away from the boss as quickly as possible.
- Damage Pools: An AOE attack that will damage you if you happen to stand on it, it would be best to avoid these bubble pools.
These are all the basic types of attacks that you are probably used to facing the bosses. The main battle begins once you bring the health down to 35%. Here the boss restores all of its HP and reveals the final form. In this phase, it’s all about the game of explosion, the boss holds nothing back as he spawns flowers, a purple orb that ends with an explosion.
Tactic To Defeat The King Of The Mists Boss
The best way to deal with most of the attacks, in the end, is to stay active in the area. Always be on the move, as you will deal with blood pools, and flowers that explode if you are nearby. As you can see how a warrior build will fall flat here since the boss is trying its best to kill anything that stays in the same area or tries to get close to him. Opting to range build will have a significantly easier time handling the boss.
Rewards
Once you defeat the boss, you will get a Gem Bloom Skull. You can head over to the inventory to activate the Skull to get 30+ Extra Spirit, perfect for a minion focus build.
