When Technician Artley requests your assistance with repairing the launcher in Sky Mines in Fairfield, your main task will be to locate the Sky Mine Manual. While having strong Engineering skills can make the job easier, the most straightforward solution is to find the manual in Outer Worlds 2. This guide explains where to locate the manual, how to use it, and the rewards you’ll receive for helping Artley.
Where to find the Sky Mine Maintenance Manual in Outer Worlds 2
To find the Sky Mine Manual, head straight towards the Town Hall from Artley’s location, and enter the area next to it containing green huts, as shown in the image. After obtaining the manual, head straight back to Artley and fix the launcher to collect your rewards. Having Engineering 2 skills also helps in this repair task.
To know the exact location of the Sky Mine Manual, head straight towards the Town Hall on the path shown below.
Keep running/walking straight on this path until you reach a left turn, and turn in that direction to an ascent.
After going upwards, look towards your right to spot a bunch of green tents as shown in the image. This will be your location to find the manual.
Upon reaching the green tents, head over to the second tent, which has an orange-white box present outside it.
You’ll find the Sky Mine Manual on top of the box. Collect it and take it back to Artley’s location to finish repairs.
After fixing the launcher, Artley will thank you by saying, “Here. Managed to cobble some frags together from a damaged mine earlier. Who knows? Might get you out of a pinch one of these days. And seeing how expertly you worked, you may as well take this armor modification, too. I’m sure you’ll have an easier time installing it than I would.”
She’ll gift you the following rewards along with the armor modification:
- Three Explosive Grenades
- One Grenade Bandolier
- Recipe: Grenade Bandolier
If you happen to have Engineering Level 2 unlocked, you can bypass all this and fix the launcher right away. The rewards remain the same, just that you will get 3 * Scrap Metals in addition to all of the above.
