When you first enter the Sagano region of the Heian time period in Nioh 3, you’ll most likely run into a Six Jizo statue. However, this one isn’t like the others, and one of the statues is missing its head.
In order to interact with the statue and earn the Jizo Merits, you’ll need to find the missing head nearby. While the head isn’t far away from the Six Jizo statue, the hard part is figuring out how to actually return it since you can’t jump very high while holding it.
Whether you need help finding the Six Jizo statue head or need help carrying it back, this guide has you covered. Here’s how to fix the Six Jizo state in the Sagano region in Nioh 3.

Nioh 3 – How to Find the Six Jizo Statue Head in Sagano

When attempting to pray at the Six Jizo Statue in Sagano, a notification pops up that reads “Something is missing.” That something is referring to a statue head, which can be found not too far away from the statue.
To find the Six Jizo Statue head, jump onto the village houses to the right of the statue and look off into the distance to find what looks like a rock sticking out of the ground. This is actually the Six Jizo Statue head.

Once you approach the head and attempt to pick it up, a Mimic will appear and transform into a Revenant version of your character.

You have to beat the Revenant in combat, and once you do, it will drop the Six Jizo statue head. Now it’s time to bring it back to the Six Jizo statue so we can fix it.
Carrying the Head to the Six Jizo Statue

The hardest part of fixing the Six Jizo Statue is figuring out how to bring the head back up the mountain. Figuring this out took me way longer than I would like to admit.
The only way to bring the Six Jizo Statue head back is by going through the nearby village. Enter the village and take the first left, and then immediately take a right to find two platforms.

Luckily, there is one platform that is short enough for you to jump on it, even while carrying the Six Jizo Statue head.

Jump onto the hay and make your way up to the roof of the house, where you will find a plank leading back to the cliff that has the Six Jizo Statue.
Once you finally make it to the Six Jizo Statue, interact with the one statue that is broken to place the head back in its spot.
Fixing the Sagano Six Jizo Statue Rewards

After bringing back the Six Jizo Statue head back to its rightful place, you will be rewarded with two Lumicite Fragments and 250 Jizo Merit. The former can be consumed to get Amrita, while the latter is used for Jizo Blessing from the Shrine Menu.
Jizo Merit is hard to come by, so bringing the head back was definitely worth the effort. Jizo Blessings allow you to increase your efficiency within Crucibles, such as increasing the amount of health you receive when using Elixir, increase the amount of Corrosion you remove when using Elixirs, etc.
