Due to the loot-based structure of Nioh 3, players will be searching for the best weapons and armor. While rare equipment can be obtained by defeating challenging enemies and bosses, there are other ways that have a higher chance for rare drops.

For example, one way to get strong equipment is by defeating Bloodedge Demons, a recurring miniboss that is extremely challenging. The challenge is definitely worth it, though, as defeating the Bloodege will earn you valuable rewards.

Unfortunately, finding the Bloodedge Demons isn’t that easy due to the vast size of each region. However, there’s a secret way to reveal the location of the Bloodedge Demon. Here’s how to find Bloodedge Demons in Nioh 3.

Finding Bloodedge Demons in Nioh 3

First off, it’s important to know that Bloodedge Demons aren’t always on the map and only spawn periodically. Luckily, the game will tell you when there’s a Bloodedge Demon in the same region as you through a notification that pops up in the Shrine menu and when opening the map.

Still, even though the game tells you that a Bloodedge Demon has spawned, it doesn’t show you where on the map. However, you can make it easier to pinpoint its location by defeating Revenants from Bloody Graves throughout the region.

Bloody Graves are the red portals scattered throughout all regions in Nioh 3. These Revenant portals range from easy to extremely challenging, depending on the region you’re in. Before summoning the Revenant, you can see its recommended level by standing next to the Bloody Grave.

After summoning the Revenant and defeating it in combat, the Revenant will dissolve and begin floating toward the Bloodedge Demon. An arrow will now appear on your map, pointing in the direction of the Bloodedge Demon.

Now all you have to do is follow the arrow shown on your map, and it will lead you to the Bloodedge Demon’s Grave. The grave is hard to miss due to its size and dark blue color, so you shouldn’t have any issues. Interact with the grave to summon the Bloodedge Demon.

    Bloodedge Demon Rewards

Defeating Bloodedge Demon’s in Nioh 3 will reward you with rare and valuable loot. This can include anything from weapons, armor, Talisman, Secret Skill Texts, and even Soul Cores. Consider the Bloodedge Demon as a type of gacha game, except instead of just pulling from a banner, you have to defeat an insanely difficult boss.

Players can increase the number of rewards they get by defeating more Revenants before taking on the Bloodedge Demons. Once you take down the boss, claim your rewards from the boss itself and the Revenant graves surrounding its portal.

After defeating the Bloodedge Demon, you will have to wait for it to spawn if you want to fight it a second time. Keep an eye out for a notification informing you that it’s available. From personal experience, the Bloodedge Demon spawns pretty frequently.
