How to Unlock Clan Battles

Clan Battles isn’t available right at the start of the game. Instead, you’ll need to progress to a certain point in the main story in order to unlock it.
Clan Battles unlocks automatically after reaching 1190 – Heian, the second major region of the game Once you reach Heian, Matsunaga Hisahide will appear at the Eternal Rift, in a shed next to the Blacksmith.
While Matsunaga will be the way to start Clan Battles, he also has some other uses. For example, he offers a store where you can purchase items, outfits and poses, and also has an option for you to create weapons.
Selecting a Clan

First and foremost, you need to select a Clan for Clan Battles. This can be done by speaking to Matsunaga Hisahide at the Teahouse in Eternal Rift. When speaking to him, select the option to select a clan.
There are many clans to choose from, each with their own unique perks and benefits. These perks are called “Clan Protection,” which grants your character buffs.
Some examples of the buffs available are “-15% Damage Taken While Attacking” if you sign with the Kato Clan, or “+8.0% increased melee damage” if you sign with Azai. There are many Clans to choose from, so pick whichever you think would benefit your character the most.
Keep in mind that you will be able to change Clans whenever you like. However, there is an eight-hour waiting period to do so.
Acquire enough Glory and you will increase your position within your Clan. Being promoted within a Clan will increase the Clan Protection buff, making it more effective.

If you end up acquiring enough Glory and end up in the top rankings, the prices for Trading at the Teahouse will be temporarily reduced.
How to Collect Glory for Clan Battles
- For starters, players can earn Glory by completing online sessions, such as Become a Visitor and Expedition modes.
- Additionally, Glory can be earned by defeating Revenants in Battle Scroll missions.
