Nioh 3 has a great co-op system that allows friends to play together seamlessly, taking on the world and fighting bosses together. However, in order for the host to summon another player to their world, they need Ochoko Cups.
It only costs one Ochoko Cup per summon (though for the blue revenant summons, it may need 2 or more), but considering how rare these items are, that is still a lot. If you’re a huge fan of playing Nioh 3 in co-op mode, then youre going to want to learn about the best way to farm them.
Luckily, this guide has everything you need to do that. Here’s the best way to farm Ochoko Cups in Nioh 3.

All Ways to Get Ochoko Cups in Nioh 3

Players can earn Ochoko Cups in the following ways:
- Defeating Revenants.
- Random drops through world exploration.
- Defeating major bosses and elite enemies.
- As a reward for helping other players in the “Become a Visitor” co-op mode.
- Purchasing them from the Teahouse in exchange for Glory.
While there are plenty of ways to acquire Ochoko Cups, not many of them are efficient farming methods. However, there are two ways that can get you a hefty amount of Ochoko Cups pretty quick, which this guide explains in the following sections.
Best Ways to farm Ochoko Cups – 1) Battle Scroll

The absolute fastest way to farm Ochoko Cups is by replaying earlier missions via the Battle Scroll option in the Shrine Menu. While playing these missions, fight and defeat every Revenant you come across. Revenants are summoned by interacting with Bloody Graves.
For example, I completed the first mission of the game, Escape from Hitokoto Slope, through the Battle Scroll one time and came away with 30 Ochoko Cups after defeating all the Revenants I encountered. This mission only took me about 10 minutes to complete, so that’s a lot of Ochoko Cups for a short amount of time.

There are a ton of Bloody Graves to be found in Battle Scroll missions, and since these are replayable missions from earlier in the game, the Revenants will be easy to kill due to them being a lower level than you.
While it’s not guaranteed for a Revenant to drop any Ochoko Cups, I’d say the chances are 90% that they will. Almost every single Revenant I defeated dropped at least one Ochoko Cup, sometimes up to three.
It’s important to be playing online when doing this farming method, or else there won’t be as many Revenants to fight. Revenants are past players who have died, which is why a ton of Revenants appear near the boss arena while in online mode.
Since so many Revenants appear near a boss arena, I recommend picking a Battle Scroll mission that is fairly short, like Escape from Hitokoto Slope mentioned earlier. If the mission is short, you can reach the boss arena quickly.
Best Ways to farm Ochoko Cups – 2) Become a Visitor Co-op

Another great way to farm Ochoko Cups is by completing missions in Become a Visitor co-op. Not only do you earn Ochoko Cups for completing missions with other players, but you also earn Glory, a currency that allows you to purchase even more Ochoko Cups.
Glory is a type of currency that can be spent at the Teahouse in the Eternal Rift for various items, including Ochoko Cups. If you don’t have the Teahouse available for you at Eternal Rift, that’s okay, just keep progressing the story until you reach the Heian time period and the Teahouse will unlock.
Keep in mind that the more Ochoko Cups you purchase from the Teahouse, the more Glory it will cost to purchase them.
