There are 8 Jewel of the Demon Seals to find in each Chapter, and we will highlight where you should look for them in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #1 – Chapter 3
Your first encounter with the Jewel of the Demon Seal will be in Chapter 3. Once you reach the flooded sewage system, where you will also find a checkpoint, head straight and take a right. You will find the Demon Seal on a corpse near the gate.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #2 – Chapter 4
Once you reach the checkpoint near a ladder out in the open street, climb up the ladder and get up to the higher road. There is a dead corpse near the ladder where you can pick up the Demon Seal.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #3 – Chapter 6
After entering a fog-filled cave system much later in Chapter 6, you will find a passage filled with lights overhead. As soon as you enter the passage, turn right and you will find a chest between some shelves. Open it to get the Demon Seal.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #4 – Chapter 7
There is a checkpoint near a cave opening, and you need to enter the cave to get the fourth Demon Seal. You can find it on a corpse lying straight down the cave’s path.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #5 – Chapter 9
Enter the Flying Fortress and head up to section D1-2, which can be found just after you exit D1-4. There is a checkpoint at the end of the passage, but you need to go to the opposite side of the checkpoint, turn left, then turn left again. Open the chest at the end of the passage to get the fifth Demon Seal.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #6 – Chapter 10
So you have come to the later stages of the game. There will be a flight of stairs with red carpeting near the checkpoint, but you don’t need to go up them just yet. Rather, head right of the checkpoint, go down the stairs on the left, turn right, and continue down the passage. Enter the last train compartment and enter the first door on your right. Head towards the bedroom at the back to find a corpse where the sixth Demon Seal can be picked up.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #7 – Chapter 12
Just two more Demon Seals to go. For this one, head over to the checkpoint in the jungle beside a large tree. Step into the waters in front of the checkpoint and swim a bit to the right side. You will find a tree with a hollowed-out trunk, and within the crevice is a chest that contains the seventh Demon Seal.
Jewel of the Demon Seal Location #8 – Chapter 13
Once you reach the upper sections of the mountain that have multiple faces carved out of it, you should be facing a rib cage hanging in front of you. Make your way down the stairs in front of you and step on the raised platform at the end of the path. The rib cage will float down, and you can pick up the final Demon Seal on it to complete your collection.
How To Use Jewel of the Demon Seal
This item is required to upgrade your Ninpo spells, and you will pick up these spells as you keep playing the game. You can then equip a Demon Seal on any of your favorite spells to upgrade its power. Each Ninpo spell requires only two Demon Seals to upgrade it, so you can collect and store excess Demon Seals to use it on any future Ninpo spell.
