Both Counter moves in Yasha Legends of the Demon Blade can be extremely useful in boss fights and fighting small-time mobs. A correctly timed parry to a single enemy can have you unleash some major counter damage to every other enemy in the area. Here in this guide, we will look at how to perform Mystic Artes and Grand Mystic Artes in Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade
Mystic Artes In Yasha Legends Of The Demon Blade

The moment the attack is about to land, you will spot a golden circle around their weapon. That’s your cue to hit Mystic Artes. The first move of Mystic Artes freezes the enemy’s attack, and the next follow-up attack deals damage to the enemy. When the enemy attacks, they will charge it up for a few seconds before releasing their weapon.
If you hit Mystic Artes before the enemy’s weapon gets a golden circle, then you will fail the parry move. You can also perform Mystic Artes on the enemy’s maneuvers. Some of the enemies, like bosses, will jump in the air and try to attack you with their claws or heads. Here you will also spot a golden circle at the moment they will attack, you can hit Mystic Artes on any one of them.
Note: If you add the Orb skill of Mystic Artes damage to your weapon, then the counter will become more deadly. If you have learned or mastered the Mystic Artes, then on every round of the game, choose the Orb skill of Mystic Artes Damage alongside Light and Heavy attack.
Grand Mystic Artes In Yasha Legends Of The Demon Blade

If you hold the Mystic Artes button and release it at the same time that the enemy’s weapon or attack gets a golden circle, you perform the Grand Mystic Artes. A big difference, and benefit here is that a correctly performed Grand Mystic Artes hits every other enemy near the parried enemy. I found the Grand Mystic Artes to be superior to its basic counterpart: there are times I performed Grand Mystic Artes and saw the entire area get cleaned in a second.
The best tactic is to move a bit far away from the enemy, charge, and wait for the enemy to attack. The second you see the golden circle, release the charge button, your character will immediately land the attack, freezing the enemy, and the next follow-up attack will hit everyone in the area.
