How To Start The Test Of Courage In Metaphor: ReFantazio
The Test of Courage side quest unlocks by speaking to a young spirited youth at the Thoroughfare Square in Martira. You will find a group of civilians who have crammed around a young person who is standing on a wooden plank that leads off the cliff edge as shown in the above image. Talk to the young spirited youth there, and he will challenge you to jump from the wooden platform as a way to test your courage.
How To Complete The Test Of Courage In Metaphor: ReFantazio
You can complete the Test Of Courage by successfully bungee jumping three times, with the rope getting thinner on every turn. After talking with the young youth, select the “I’ll take the plunge” option to begin the test, which will be followed by a short cutscene.
During the first two attempts in the Test of Courage, players will also receive stat points for Courage. This might make it possible to clear the complete quest in one swoop if you have a Courage Rank 4 before beginning this quest. In fact, I would strongly recommend you to have that, since the third and final attempt, you will need to be at Rank 5: Heroic in the Courage stat to take the plunge. Completing the Test Of Courage unlocks the ‘At Your Own Risk’ trophy/achievement in the game, and also gives you:
- A stat increase for your Royal Virtue Courage
- Foreign Coin: while it does not have any use in-game, you can sell it to get Reeves
