Most people will immediately be drawn towards Falcon when it comes to the sheer amount of moves you can do in the sky as you fly across the map, doing many tricks to dodge the line of sight to locate enemies. Playing as Falcon will be an amazing experience, but there is a bit of a learning curve to its set of gameplay. Here we are going to look at Falcon in Mecha Break
Mecha BREAK: Falcon Overview

Prepare to turn into a jet and fly across the sky, doing sick maneuvers and hitting people with the Autocannon and perfectly timed Heavy missiles. You are also going to have plenty of recon activity by locating snipers, healers in the area.
Primary Weapon: Autocannon
A classic rapid bullet firing at long distance, you can both manually and automatically reload the gun. Autocannon is a solo target gun; you can only lock to one target when using the Autocannon.
Sidearm: Light Missile Launcher
You must use the lock-on function to fire a barrage of missiles at the enemy that deal explosive damage on impact. After firing once, the launcher will reload itself without any input. Unlike the Autocannon, you need to be a bit close to the enemy to fire the light missiles.
Recon Kit
Effect: The kit helps enhance the detection and expands the lock-on range.
Using the Recon Kit also allows you to see enemies through terrain, stealth enemies, pulse storm, and smoke. The kit also helps mark any nearby enemies, and the squad member will be able to see the marked enemies ( also STEGOs) on their screen. Basically, you are pinpointing every annoying enemy, such as snipers and healers, in the area.
Winged Form

Effect: Allows you to fly at an impeccable speed in the sky
Activating the Winged Form also boosts all of your abilities, such as detection, lock-on range, and increases the ammo capacity of the Autocannon and firing rate. It’s going to be your go-to move in the game when it comes to mastering the art of flying across the map. Compared to all other abilities, Winged Form has a bit of a learning curve to master all of its actions. You must learn all the maneuvers to become a true master of Falcon.
Heavy Missile Launcher
Effect: Launch a barrage of missiles from the sky.
You must be in the Winged Form to activate the Heavy Missile Launcher; it does a good amount of blast or explosive damage to the enemy on impact. Compared to the Light Missile Launcher, the Heavy, on the other hand, requires a good amount of distance control to land the missile on the target. A perfect move that requires plenty of practice and timing to pull off.
Tips to play as Falcon
- You must learn Ascending and Descending in the Falcon’s Winged Form. After learning both, you can move forward + ascend or descend + press the dodge button to a loop in midair.
Note: The loop animation can be cancelled to make your move more unpredictable to your enemies. Perfect when you are against snipers or melee damage dealers.
- Remember to use the Heavy Missile Launcher when you are in your Winged Form. When you are doing loops or dashes in the air, once you master the abilities, switch to the Heavy Missile Launcher to blast the enemy in the air.
- Falcon can also be played as an offensive, or you can always use the Winged Form to back down from a fight and take some cover.
- While in the WInged Form, going forward will suck up more energy than going backwards (slowing down).
- Besides learning how to ascend and descend, you will also need to learn Fast Landing on Falcon. You can find all the config buttons in the Settings option to learn the shortcut keys.
