Marvel Rivals: How To Get The King Of The Dead Achievement

Marvel Rivals introduces players to all the best superheroes in the Marvel franchise. You learn how to team up, work on your hero’s skills and abilities, and master the gameplay to win matches. Along the way, you can also farm trophies and achievements to add to your collection and show off to your friends.

While playing as Black Panther, you can unlock the King of the Dead trophy/achievement. But the objective is rather tricky, and you might find yourself stuck trying to get this one achievement. In this guide we will show you how to get the King of the Dead trophy/achievement in Marvel Rivals.

The objective of this trophy states that “As Black Panther, get a three-player kill streak in Wakanda’s Hall of Djalia.” Now, three things stand out to complete this trophy:

    • First, you need to master how to play as Black Panther.
    • Then, you need to get the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda: Hall of Djalia map.
    • Finally, you need to get a triple kill within a short amount of time without dying in between.

As is evident, this can be a bit tricky to get, so you be ready to try several times to get this one trophy home. Out of these objectives, getting this specific map is potentially the most time-consuming part, since it is only available in Escorts mode, and the modes are randomly assigned. Till then, you can learn the ropes of playing the game as Black Panther. Black Panther is a 4 Stars Duelist hero, making his moveset exceptionally difficult to master.

Best Team Composition With Black Panther

To make things easy, it is best to team up so you can land the final blow with their help. The ideal team comp has two Strategists, two Duelists including Black Panther, and two Vanguards. Or you can also use two Strategists, Black Panther as the lone Duelist, and 3 Vanguards, or remove the Vanguards and keep all Duelists and Strategists.

Have the Strategists hover around Black Panther to help heal him, and the Vanguards and Duelists can land the starting blows. It is best that the attacking heroes spread out so Black Panther has a variety of opponents to defeat. Now comes the tricky part. You need to get three kills without dying, and all kills should land within 10 seconds of each other. This can be rather tricky with Black Panther’s low HP, hence why a Strategist like Mantis or Jeff can work well here.

Let Black Panther partner up with some of the stronger heroes like Captain America, Wolverine, Punisher, and Venom. With the Panther’s Cunning passive, you can increase his damage output while at low health. But it is best to wait till his ultimate ability kicks in, as Black Panther can create an AoE attack and knock out multiple enemies within a radius. All heroes attacked by Black Panther’s Ultimate will have the Vibranium Mark, so use his speed to your advantage to target and zip between enemies and deal combos. Keep doing this till you get a triple kill notification on the right side of your screen.

And with that, you can unlock the King of the Dead trophy/achievement for Black Panther in Marvel Rivals. If you are looking for ways to counter certain Heroes, you check out our guides on countering Hulk and Hela in Marvel Rivals.
