Old Regrets Quest
The quest revolves around an old man’s unfulfilled wish of hunting for a treasure map. It is up to us to find the treasure and give him the loot to finish the quest.
Finding the Quest
Travel to the Witch Stone located on Lochmuir Road, turn left, and after a bit of walking, drop down the hole in the ground at the start of the wooden bridge. Here, underneath the bride, you will meet an old man, and he will bring up the topic of regrets about not hunting the treasure map he possesses. Here, choose the dialogue option: “Sure….Wouldn’t want to regret that opportunity.” This will be the Old Regret quest in the game.
The objective is to find the chest in the world. The Treasure Chest we are looking for is in the Gloomroot Woods.
Looting the Treasure Chest
- The best route to the Gloomroot Woods is heading left from the Witch Stone at the Ruins of West Wickham.
- Now start heading in the left direction in Gloomroot Woods, and you will soon find yourself at the edge of a cliff. Here you will find a Map Fragment for Gloomroot Woods. If you notice the cliff’s end, you will see white spots at a near distance from the cliff.

- At first glance, seeing a giant gap at the cliff’s end will indicate a dead end. But upon closer inspection, you will quickly notice four barely visible white spots in the air connecting the cliff’s end to the other side.
- You must jump on the invisible white spots to get to the other side. Once you land on the platform on the other side, you must fight off an invisible enemy.
- Defeat the enemy, loot the chest, and you will obtain the item “Gerald’s Treasure.” Now, all you have to do is get back to the old man we met under the bridge at Lochmuir Road. Talk to him, exhaust all the dialogues to end the questline.
