Mandragora has some of the toughest challenges and boss fights, and if you are playing as a rogue, you will need to expand your arsenal to stand a chance against the later sections in the game. Having all the Assassination Skills will help you achieve the pure rouge status, allowing you to play the game as a shadow of the night. Here in this guide, we will focus on all the Assassination Skill locations in Mandragora.
All Assassination Skill Locations
You will find 7 Assassination Skills in Mandragora. While two of them can be bought from a shop, the rest are tied to a boss fight in specific zones in the game. Here is the list of all Assassination Skills details and locations.
#1. Assassination Skill – Envenom
Effect: You can add Poison to your dagger for 30 seconds
Where to Get: You can buy it from Gerald for 1,500 Gold. If you are playing the Nightshade Class, you will get the Envenom skill as a starting skill.
#2. Assassination Skill- Reactive Blast
Effect: Throw a reactive agent towards all nearby poisoned enemies, and it will deal 2 stacks of Poison.
Where to Get: You can also purchase this skill from Gerald for 1,500 Gold, same as the Envenom skill.
#3. Assassination Skill- Bear Trap
Effect: Throw a trap on the ground that, well, traps any who steps on it. You will only have 3 traps at a time.
Where to Get: Defeat the Bandit Captain holding the key.
- Head to the Witch Stone located in Old Wickham Monastery. Make your way right, head down the stairs, and through the doorway. Now, take the ladder and drop down the hole on the right to reach the bottom floor and start walking to the left.
- Go through the doorway, and you will come face to face with the Bandit Captain. Defeat him to get the Skill Bear Trap.
#4. Assassination Skill – Toxic Shiv
Effect: Throw a poisoned shiv that deals damage and adds poison status to the enemy.
Where to Get: You must defeat the Dungeon Keeper boss to obtain the skill.
- Start your journey by the Witch Stone located in the Catacomb Depths, make your way left, pass the elevator, and you will reach the boss area. Defeating the Dungeon Keeper boss fight will award you the Toxic Shiv ability and the Dungeon Key.
#5. Assassination Skill- Backlash
Effect: Using the skill will put you backward and throw a hidden blade that deals damage. The blade impales the first enemy for 8 seconds.
Where to Get: Taking down the Fang Executioner boss at the Ruins of Wickham will get you the Backlash skill.
- Make your way to the Ruins of West Wickham Witch Stone, head left, and take the elevator by the first street lamp.
- Once you are on the upper floor, make your way to the top by climbing on the ledges and then turn right by the ladder.
- After a while, you will come face to face with Fang Executioner.
#6. Assassination Skill – Shadow Step
Effect: Teleport behind the enemy at a distance within range, dealing a quick cut to the target’s back. The damage here will hit 200%.
Where to Get: Defeating the boss Paleweaver unlocks the Shadow Step Assassin Skill.
- Travel to West Wickham Sewers’ Witch Stone, keep heading towards the right, pass the ladder, and use the grappling hook to cross the gap. Drop down the ledge to face the Paleweaver boss.
- Defeat the spider creature boss and free the vampire; you will obtain the Shadow Step skill.
#7. Assassination Skill- Detonate Toxin
Effect: It removes all stacks and poison from the enemy, and the detonation deals poison damage, and the damage will depend on the stacks of poison removed from the enemy.
Where to Get: Eliminating Chthonic Stalker unlocks the Detonate Toxin skill.
- Travel to the Lower Citadel, turn left, and climb the ledges in the second room to get to the upper floor. Keep moving to the left, pass the first ladder, but get down on the second ladder.
- Drop down the ledge to get to the bottom floor. and head through the doorway on the left. Keep moving to the left and use a grappling gun to climb onto the rock at a higher spot.
- Keep moving to the left, drop down the ledges to face the boss Chthonic Stalker.
