Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree holds many secrets, and you must dig deeper to unlock these. One of the major pieces of the game are Map Fragments, which are scattered throughout the map. Here we have covered a detailed guide to help you find the location of all 20 Map Fragments in the game.
All 20 Map Fragment Locations In Mandragora: Whispers Of The Witch Tree
We have listed details on the Witch Stone location on every one of the Map Fragments listed below. You can use the Witch Stone location or names as an indicator to find the proper spot to begin your journey to hunt the collectibles.
Note: Some Map Fragments are locked behind platforms that require you to use the Grappling and Wing ability. We recommend that you hunt for the Map Fragments after having the abilities unlocked in your game.
#1. Wickham Map Fragment| Wickham Marketplace
- Travel to the Witch Stone at Wickham Market Place and move to the left. After crossing the bridge, get into the room with a guard waiting outside. It will take you to the sewer level.
- Climb down the ladder and then start moving towards the left in the sewer. Then, make your way down to the bottom floor and start moving towards the right. Soon you will come across the ladder, take it to go to the upper floor. Then move towards the left, avoid the traps, and climb another ladder.
- Once you are at the top, jump on the platforms on the right, and they will lead you to a skeleton with the Wickham Map Fragment.
#2. West Wickham Map Fragment| Ruins of West Wickham
- Get to the Witch Stone at the Ruins of West Wickham, and to your right, you will find a tunnel on the ground. Interact with it to enter.
- Now make your way to the right, at the end you will find the Map Fragment for West Wickham lying on the wooden bridge.
#3. Old Wickham Monastery Map Fragment| Old Wickham Monastery
- From the Witch Stone at Old Wickham Monastery, move towards the right, go through the door, and drop down the floor right next to the ladder. You don’t need to go all the way down with the ladder, the first platform right of the ladder will have the fragment on the floor.
#4 Gravseep Swamp Map Fragment| Gravseep Swamp
- Travel to the Witch Stone at Gravseep Swamp, now go all the way to the right until you come across a house next to the water wheels.
- Get inside the house, climb up the ledge above the main entrance, then take the ladder. You will find the Map Fragment on the ground to your left.
#5 Dilapidated Mausoleum Map Fragment| Old Elevator
- While you can travel to the Witch Stone at Dilapidated Mausoleum to get to the Dilapidated Mausoleum Map Fragment, I recommend that you take the route from Old Elevator, it is simpler to navigate.
- Travel to the Old Elevator Witch Stone, head down the stairs on the right, and keep moving forward until you come across a ladder. Climb down the ladder and again, stick to the right.
- At the end, climb up the ledge and perform a vertical wall jump between two narrow walls to get to the top. Here, move to your left, and you will find the Dilapidated Mausoleum Map Fragment next to the steel gate.
#6 Forgotten Catacombs Map Fragments| Forgotten Catacombs
- Travel to the Witch Stone located in Forgotten Catacombs, start moving to your right, pass the elevator, and climb up the ladder. The ladder can be found before the room with the moving axe pendulum.
- Once you are on the upper floor, move to your right, and you will find the Map Fragment at the end next to the wall.
#7 Lochmuir Village Map Fragment| Lochmuir Village
- Get to the Witch Stone located in the Lochmuir Village. Head to the doorway on the right, now climb up the wall on the left of the ladder. Quickly, make your way to the top by climbing on ledges, and finally take the ladder to the top.
- Once you have reached the top of the ladder, drop down onto the platform on the right. The platform is partly visible from the top, but you can make the jump from the top of the ladder. You will find the Lochmuir Village Map Fragment on the platform.
#8 Braer Castle Left Wing Map Fragment| Upper Quarters
- Travel to Witch Stone at Upper Quarters. Start moving towards the right until you reach the library section filled with bookshelves. Here, climb the ladder, then jump to another ladder on its left, and another jump to the final ladder on the left.
- Get to the top, start moving towards the left, drop down the floor, and hit the wall next to the painting on the ground.
- This will open a hidden room, enter the room, drop down, and use the grappling hook to launch yourself to the platform on the other side, and drop down the wooden platform on the right. Voila, you will have the fragment.
#9 Braer Castle Dungeon Map Fragment| Braer Castle Left Wing
Requirement: The door next to the Witch Stone will stay locked unless you have the “Dungeons Key“. You can obtain the key by eliminating the Dungeon Keeper located left of Upper Quarters.
Dungeon Key Location: Head to the Witch Stone at Upper Quarters, keep moving to your left, drop down a floor, and finally go through the doorway at the end. That’s it, you will face the dungeon keeper here in this room, defeat him to obtain the Dungeon Key.
- Now with the Dungeon Key in hand, travel to Braer Castle Left Wing’s Witch Stone, start moving to the left, and go through the first doorway.
- In the new area, start moving to your left, and you will eventually find the Fragment on the ledge next to a skeleton. You can use the lanterns in the environment as a way to get to the location.
#10 Braer Castle Right Wing Map Fragment| Rooftop Terrace
- Travel to the Rooftop Terrace’s Witch Stone, move to your right, and go down the elevator. When you reach the lower ground, start moving towards your right, drop down the ledge, and then start moving to your left.
- After a few jumps, you will find the Braer Castle Right Wing Map Fragment at the end.
#11. Braer Castle Gardens Map Fragment| Braer Gardens
- Head over to the Witch Stone located at Braer Gardens, and you will find the fragment immediately to your left, on the ground.
#12. Frostbite Pass Map Fragment| Upper Citadel
- Get to the Witch Stone in Upper Citadel, move towards the left, and fall through the first hole in the ground. Once you land on the floor, keep moving towards the left, pass the ladder, and go through the traps to get to the other side.
- Head through the doorway on the left to get to an open area. Here, climb down the ledge and use your grappling hook to swing yourself to the platform on the other side.
- Defeat the enemy, and head to the edge on the left, and you will find the Map Fragment right on the edge of the roof.
#13. Drakkeden Citadel Map Fragment| Upper Citadel
- Travel to the Witch Stone in Upper Citadel, jump through the hole on the left. And to your right, you will find the Drakkeden Citadel Map Fragment next to a skeleton.
#14. Gloomroot Woods Map Fragment| West Wickham Sewers
- Get to the Witch Stone at West Wickham Sewers and make your way to the left to enter the Gloomroot Woods.
- Keep sticking to the left, and you will eventually find the Gloomroot Wood fragment near the edge of a cliff.
#15 Forsaken Mine Map Fragment| West Wickham Sewers
- From the Witch Stone at West Wickham Sewers, make your way to the Gloomroot Woods area on the left. Now, keep moving forward on the left and reach the bottom of the area. And now move towards the right to reach the Mining Outpost zone of Gloomroot Woods.
- Enter the mines, you will find the door to the mine area next to the ladder. Once you are inside, move to your right and jump on the platform above. Stick to the right direction and drop down on the floor at the end. You will find the Forsaken Mine Map Fragment.
#16. Drifting Rock Map Fragment| Coven
- Travel to Coven Witch Stone, move towards the right, and you will find the Drifting Rock Fragment on the platform at the end.
#17. Crimson Inner City Map Fragment| Street Level
- Make it to the Witch Stone at Street Level, move towards the right, drop down the beam between a gap. Now make your way down, move to your right, pass the ladder, and drop down through the gap next to the torch, and you will find the fragment at the end on your right.
#18. Palaces Map Fragment| Street Level
- Get to the Witch Stone at Street Level, start moving towards your left, and go through the doorway at the end.
- On the other side, take the ladder right away, now jump on the ledge to get to the top. Here you need to make it to the platform all the way left of your location, Here you must use your wings to cover the distance.
- Once you have successfully landed on the platform on the other side, climb up the ladder until you make it to the top, after a bit of walking, drop down the ladder on the other side, and finally go through the doorway on the right.
- Here you find yourself standing on a small floor, the Map Fragment we’re looking for is on a floor directly under ours. The size and distance of the floor for both of them are the same.
- It can be a bit tricky to execute, just hang on to the edge of the floor, and then hit the drop button. Now use the direction keys to move your character to land on the floor below.
#19. Tombstone Hollows Map Fragment| Old Wickham Monastery
Requirements: “Dungeon Key “and “Key with a Strange Symbol“
- Dungeon Key: You can obtain the Dungeon Key by defeating the Dungeon Keeper at Upper Quarters.
- Key with a Strange Symbol: Now head to Braer Castle Left Wing’s Witch Stone, move to the left, open the steel gate with the Dungeon Key. Head inside, drop down to the bottom floor, after defeating common ghouls, you will find a blue object lying on the floor, that’s the key we will need to open a door in the Lower Cemetery.
Get to the Lower Cemetery in the Old Wickham Monastery, where you will find a locked door that can only be unlocked with a key. You will find the key in the Braer Castle Dungeon area.
- With the key in hand, unlock the door and head inside. Drop down the ladder and move to your right. After a bit of a walk, you will come across another ladder taking you further below. Again, keep moving to your right.
- You will come across another ladder, but skip this one; stick to the right. In the end, you will come across a spike trap zone. Use your grappling hook to swing over the spikes to the floor on the other side. You will find the Tombstone Hollow Map Fragment at the end.
#20. Hinterlands Map Fragment| Old Wickham Town Square
- Travel to the Witch Stone located in Old Wickham Town Square, start moving to your left, and drop down the well.
- Keep moving to your right and climb down the ladder, and you will find the Hinterland Map Fragment to your left on a platform.
That’s it, now you have all the Map Fragments in Mandragora. Some people have reported a bug of not seeing the achievement unlocked after getting all 20/20 Map Fragments, It will be better to load up the old save file to collect the final one or wait for a proper fix by the devs.
