Lost in Random: The Eternal Die tasks us with the side quest of finding the lost children of Aama. As we venture to find these lost Dicelings, we must travel through different terrains and rooms and find these Dicelings that are lost within Mare’s games. This article will guide you through different rooms and maps to find Aama’s lost children and also help her get in touch with her sister.
How To Start The Aama Side Quest In Lost In Random
As the quest begins, head over to Aama and talk with her. She’ll offer you 3 blessings to regain your magical strength.
- Full Living – Increases maximum health
- Energetic Endings – Extra Energy Shards when you defeat an enemy
- Fearful Foes – Increases all Attack Damage against normal enemies
Purchase these blessings and continue the conversation. Aama will reveal that her children are lost, hiding in Mare’s games, and it is our job to rescue them.
First Diceling
Rescue 1 Diceling during your encounters. Keep in mind that they’re in neutral encounters, i.e. that have no enemies and can appear randomly. It can be seen hiding under the plant in the room with playing cards scattered across the floor.
Head back to Aama and talk to her, the quest will get updated as she announces that there are more of her children in there. You need to find 3 more of the dicelings before heading back to Aama.
#1 Rescue 3 Dicelings
In the room with the spiralling stairs leading up, you can find another Diceling seated in a chair on the right side of the room. One more diceling in the room using chess pawns as pillars with the floating card in the middle. In this room, the diceling is behind one of the pillars. The next room will have chess pawns in the middle of the room, the diceling can be found on a table under a portrait of a king on the left side of the room.
#2 Rescue 2 Dicelings
Head back to Aama. Exhaust the conversation and return to finding the dicelings. Head back into the room with the floating card in the middle and you’ll find one diceling in one of the corner pillars in the centre of the room, and one more behind a large pillar. Once you’ve collected these 2 dicelings, back to Aama you go! You can get the Decadent Disguise after the conversation with her.
#3 Rescue 3 Dicelings
For the next couple of dicelings, head into the room with the potions, one diceling will be under the plant in the corner of the room, and the other on one of the large crates. You’ll also find one near one of the pillars in the floating card room. Talk to Aama to get the Decadent Drape.
#4 Rescue 5 Dicelings
- After talking to Aama, when you reach a room with a spinning treasure in the middle, you’ll be able to find one of the dicelings on the chair.
- Another one on the chair, in the left corner of the room with the floating card, as well as towards the left of the entrance to the room with the spiralling stairs.
- The 4th diceling is in the carnival room, under one of the structures on the north side of the room.
- The last diceling before going to Aama is in the room with the large pillars, under the torch on the wall.
Head back to Aama again and you’ll get a Decadent Wig.
#5 Rescue 3 Dicelings
As you venture on another journey to find the lost dicelings, you can find one between 2 pillars in the challenge room. Another one at the base of the spiralling stairs. The last one is in the card activation room in the swamp arena. Break the barrels to your right to spot the diceling! Get back to Aama to claim the Decadent Fortune.
#6 Rescue 3 Dicelings
Onto the next set of dicelings. First, go to the dice board arena and get your first diceling from the fallen over chair towards the southwest of the room. Next, head over to the merchant area, in the left side corner, next to the stall. The last one is next to the cupboard on the north side of the card activation room!
Talk With Dots
Once you claim these dicelings, head over to Dots, who’ll be right next to Aama and talk to him. You’ll get 30 cinders once the conversation is over. Your journal will be updated, and you can move on to the next NPC.
Talk With Eema
The next NPC you will need to talk with is Eema, who is the final boss of the 2nd map. Once you’ve exhausted the dialogues, head back and talk to Aama. Here, we’ll learn that Aama and Eema are sisters, and we need to head back to Eema to ask about their real home. Once your conversation with Eema is finished, head back to Aama and report it, and you’ll get the Decadent Dress.
#7 Rescue 6 Dicelings
Now we’re back to finding the dicelings.
- First can be found under the torch, where we found it before.
- The 2nd is in the spinning treasure room, to the left as you enter.
- The 3rd diceling is in the challenge room, behind the huge red and yellow crate.
- 4th in the swampy card activation room, on the north side.
- The 5th is in one of the Dicemaster’s Domain rooms, and you can find the diceling in one of the chairs.
- The last one is in one of the hidden diceling prison cells, towards the left side corner.
#8 Rescue 9 Dicelings
Once you’ve gotten all 6 dicelings, talk to Dots. Next, you have to find another 9 dicelings to move on with the quest.
- One diceling is in the spiralling stairs room, to the chair on the right.
- One in the card activation room, behind a small pawn pillar.
- The 3rd one is in the room with the chess pawns, on the chair in the top right corner.
- The 4th one can be found by breaking the barrels behind the stone statue in the swamp room.
- The 5th one is in the bottom right corner of the swampy challenge area.
- The 6th diceling is in Fourburg, an industrial map, at the east edge of the room.
- The 7th diceling is between the barrels towards the right side of the entrance of the card activation room in Fourburg.
- You can find the 8th diceling in the top-right corner map in the swampy area. It’s at the base of a fallen statue.
- The last one is at the left of the card in the card activation room of the swamp area.
Final Meeting With Dots
Head back over to Dots and talk to him. Once the conversation is over, you’ll get ‘Shred of Hope‘. To finish the quest, return and talk to Aama!
