First Mock Interrogation With Liora
The interrogation begins as Nikki asks Liora about the day she saw Squeaky and Belford. Liora will mention that Squeaky was caught up in hallucinations, and Belford was transporting detergent but was unstable. Here, Liora tried to help them, but she bumped into Belford, spilling the detergent all over the place.
Now offer the evidence, “Neatly Arranged Detergents”. This piece of evidence will point to a different scenario, as last time Nikki investigated the scene, she found the detergent bottles placed in an organized manner. Liora will reply that someone organized the bottles, and the one who did it must be the true culprit. Here, Liora examines the bottles, and it leads to Scarface Benny.
If the detergent belonged to Scarface Benny, then he was the one looking for the detergent he dropped. Out of force of habit, Benny organized all the spilled bottles on the spot. Liora will now tell Nikki that Benny might be the one who took a bottle of detergent, but the wrong one.
Second Mock Interrogation With Liora
Now provide the evidence, “Belford’s Testimony About ‘Dawn First Light”. This evidence has Belford delivering Super Duper Pomed detergent, which is a different type of detergent, and the scent difference is non-existent.
Liora still pushes that Benny grabbed the wrong detergent in a hurry because the bottles look alike and the scent difference is minimal. Nikki then summarizes the event: if Benny did take the wrong detergent, he must have known it by now and probably had thrown out the bottle. Here, Liora will suggest that Nikki look for other witnesses and mention that she saw a sack with a big tear in her hallucination.
Now offer the evidence, “Squeaky’s Testimony About ‘Dawn First Light“. This piece of evidence reveals that Squeaky also sees a big sack spit open after being scared by a noisy sack, the same hallucination shared by Liora.
Third Mock Interrogation With Liora
The conversation will then shift towards Madame Julie’s suitcase, and Nikki will ask Liora about how to link Benny with Madame Julie’s suitcase. Liora will suggest finding marks left by Benny on the suitcase.
Here, use the evidence, “Opened Julie’s Suitcase“. This piece of evidence will reveal Julie’s suitcase covered in dirt and scuff marks. Liora will suggest that Benny wash his hands with Super Duper Pomed detergent. She will ask Nikki to look for other flaws of Super Duper Pomed detergent besides the scent.
Now offer the evidence, “The ‘Super Duper Pomed’ Formula”. This evidence tells Nikki that Super Duper Pomed can amplify the effects of other detergents that the Estate will not sell to anyone outside. Liora will then add that the same effect will also take place if Super Duper Pomed is combined with One Breath Bliss and One Wash Fresh detergent.
Nikki will reach the conclusion that Julie’s suitcase has always had One Wash Fresh applied to it. So the mix of both detergents is what caused the marks on the suitcase, and not from wear and tear. Liora will then suggest that Benny might try to claim the marks on the suitcase were present before the theft.
Now offer the evidence, “A Photo of Julie’s Suitcase”. This evidence will reveal the picture of the suitcase before the theft in its natural condition.
