The Call of Duty series will always offer something new in terms of campaign missions and game modes. Black Ops 6 is no different, as it is the latest to join the CoD franchise. There are trophies to unlock, easter eggs to discover and puzzles to solve as you go through the campaign missions. While most of the missions are pretty clear in terms of what is to be done, some of them have puzzles to break the combat flow, and one such is the Scavenger Hunt during the Separation Anxiety campaign mission.
This guide has all the details on how to solve Jane’s Scavenger Hunt Puzzle in Black Ops 6. The solution requires a mix of observation and maths. While not very complicated, it is a pretty neat puzzle. Let’s get started!
How To Start Jane’s Scavenger Hunt Puzzle In Black Ops 6
The Scavenger Hunt Puzzle is part of the main quest and unlocks when you are transported to Jane’s memories, and looking to unlock a chest as part of her memories.
After capturing Jane Harrow during the Separation Anxiety mission, she will be brought back to the safehouse for interrogation. In the process, you will be transported into one of her memories to find out more about Pantheon’s imminent attack. You get to learn a bit about Harrow’s past and about the strange figure in the mirror. The mirror eventually breaks, and there is a puzzle to solve here. You need to gather 3 mirror shards and restore the mirror to complete the puzzle.
The first shard is locked inside the chest near the bed, but you need to decipher the code to unlock it. Read the note stuck to the foot of the bed to find the clues and start Jane’s Scavenger Hunt puzzle. The items you need to investigate are not available in your near vicinity, you must explore your surroundings and bring them back to the starting puzzle location.
Jane’s Scavenger Hunt Puzzle Solution In Black Ops 6
To solve Jane’s Scavenger Hunt Puzzle, you must decipher and enter the code from three notes in the following order: the note on the Desk, Scouts, and Tea Party. After noting down the numbers, head back to the starting puzzle area and interact with the chest. Remember that the numbers need to be added in the specific order mentioned above.
If you are looking for the short answer, the final code will be 918. Entering this code will unlock the chest, give you the first mirror shard, and continue on with the rest of the Separation Anxiety mission in Black Ops 6.
However, if you are looking to see how the puzzle is to be actually solved, we have the details for you as well below:
Desk Code Solution
The Desk Note says, ‘Working Hard, wanting more. Always seek the highest score’. Below that, on the desk, you have three graded papers. The right answer here is the highest score among all three papers! The answer to this is 9.
Scouts Code Solution
The building beside the one with the Tea Party toys will have a bookshelf with the next code. Make your way inside and you will spot a young Jane cowering beside the fireplace. Beside her is the shelf filled with medals and badges. The note stuck to the shelf tells us to count trophies, minus the number of badges to give us the third and final number. The answer here is 1.
Tea Party Code Solution
The Tea Party toys can be found inside one of the buildings near the puzzle area. Follow the quest marker towards the building, head inside and go up the stairs. Crawl under the bed and unlock the door ahead to find the Tea Party. The note pretty much gives the solution, asking us to count the guests, and double that to obtain our code. Read the note to figure out the code. The answer is 8.
And with that, Jane’s Scavenger Hunt puzzle in Black Ops 6 is done!
