What makes Indiana Jones and the Great Circle a true adventure game is the diverse range of missions it has. As we complete each part of the game’s storyline, the game gets more mysterious and fun. Like in an Indy movie, you will be globetrotting, and each location has its own secrets to discover and mysteries to solve.
One of these places is the Vatican, and here one of the mysteries to solve is finding a missing cat. While you may think it’s much easier to do than other missions set in the city instead of the jungle, there are still many things you can miss out on while finding the photographs. Here’s a guide to locating all Missing Cat photos and taking the reward from Father Bianchi.
How To Start A Free Spirit Mystery
The mystery starts once you pick up the missing cat poster from a notice board exactly on the other side of the Tower of Nicholas V. The flyer will tell you about the appearance of the cat named Signor Smushki. It’ll be a black cat with short but satin-like hair on its body. It was last seen near the Tower of Nicholas V, so it’s better to start searching from that location.
This is an opportunity to take photos of some cats around the town, and you don’t really need to collect all 5 to solve the mystery. However, the extra Experience Points that you get (and the satisfaction of ticking off 5/5) make the additional effort worth it.
So let’s look at all 5 places to click a Cat Photo in A Free Spirit Mystery.
Cat Photo #1
For this photograph, go on the road on the opposite side of where the missing cat poster was. Keep going straight and then take a right. This will lead you to an alleyway where a fascist will be talking about the weather. Take the the left from this alleyway, right before the steps begin. There will be a black cat sitting near the tree in the middle. While it isn’t Signor Smushki, you need to photograph this cat for the mission.
Cat Photo #2
From the previous location, come out to the opposite side of the alleyway and then go on the road on the right. Go straight and then take a right again, going through the black gates and into another alley. Try to find a ladder near the right side of the alley. Climb it and then jump over the boxes in front of you. There’ll be another ladder, climbing that will lead you to the roof of a house with some painters on it.
A brown-colored cat will be here, so take its photograph After reaching the top, carefully go to the right side of the roof, and then take another right where the roof splits into two parts. Signor Smushki will be on the end of the roof.
Cat Photo #3
After you get the photograph of Smushki, slowly come down onto the ground on the right side. Go into the room that will be on the end of the road. Jump on the boxes and try to climb on the roof. Once you reach the top, there will be another cat in front of you. This will be an orange cat that isn’t necessarily missing, but we have to photograph it.
Cat Photo #4
Once you get the orange cat’s picture, go onto the right side of the roof. Carefully walk through the narrow path and cross over to the next roof. There will be another cat sitting on the roof tiles here. This will be a grey cat that doesn’t seem to be afraid of heights.
Cat Photo #5
For the next picture, just go to the roof on the left side of the previous cat. Keep walking straight and jump on the next higher roof when you reach its end. Be careful as this is a very narrow path and you could easily fall down if you aren’t careful.
From the next roof, take a left and then take a right. Head down onto the ground the same way you climbed up, which was through the ladders. Near the first ladder, we climb down, you’ll notice a cat on the right side of it. This will be a brown cat.
To complete the ‘Free Spirit’ mystery, go back to the noticeboard and put Signor Smushki’s photograph on the poster. This will complete the mission and you’ll be rewarded with experience points. With this done, you may want to check how to collect all exploration books in the game, as they will come in extremely handy when trying to locate the numerous collectibles that the game has.
