The Fountain Of Confession Puzzles In Indiana Jones & The Great Circle
The Fountain of Confession Puzzle in the game is a collection of 3 puzzles:
- Dragon Fountain Puzzle
- Baptism Statue Puzzle
- The Ark of Bulrushes Puzzle
Solving all three of them is necessary and is a part of the main quest. Doing so opens up the fountain to reveal a secret passage beneath it, and progress the story.
However, before you begin work on the puzzle, make your way to Necropolis, and collect a special parchment from Angur the Giant’s tomb. Then, head over to the Stolen Cat Mummy and hand it over to Antonio. He will tell you to gather some clues to locate the Secret Monastery section of the Vatican.
Dragon Fountain Puzzle Solution
The Dragon Fountain puzzle is solved by rotating the two stone dragons on the top of the tower and have them face each other. Once you reach the fountain, take photos of the dragon in the middle and of the inscriptions on either side of the fountain’s pillars. You will get a hint to investigate the black and white dragons on top of the tower. You can take photos of the dragons to get more hints, and it will tell you that you need to turn the dragons towards each other.
- Pick up a key from a crate on the left side of the fountain. This opens the locked gate on the fountain’s pillar.
- Once inside, use your whip to climb up the wooden wall and get up to the tower on the left.
- This dragon is missing a claw, you will find it just below the tower, on the scaffolding to its right.
- Use your whip to climb down and get it and insert the claw to draw out a lever.
- Use the lever to turn the dragon towards the other dragon on the opposite side.
- Use your whip on the beam on top to swing across to the next dragon.
- Twist the claw to bring out the lever and repeat the steps to turn it towards the other dragon.
- Below, the middle dragon will turn around, use your whip on the ring on its back to pull it to turn the wall.
With that the first puzzle is solved, onto the next one! With Gina’s help, push or pull the handle below the fountain to reveal the next fountain puzzle.
Baptism Statue Puzzle Solution
The Baptism Statue Puzzle, as suggested by its name, will have you move around the statues so that the child gets placed under the bucket of water. If you pull the ring on the statue on the top right corner of the fountain, water will pour down into the bucket below.
First, push the child from the left side to the right. Then, pull the ring on the top right statue to pour the water into the bucket. Next, push the statue towards the child, and the bucket will tip over to perform the baptism. Puzzle solved! To reveal the next and the last puzzle, pull the lever below the fountain to the right.
The Ark Of Bulrushes Puzzle Solution
For the final puzzle, you must guide baby Moses from one end to the other, but there is a wooden plank in between that blocks your way.
