One such likely quest will be “A Date To Remember”, where you have to decipher a code to get your hands on stolen loot. While it sounds simple, you need some outside-the-box thinking to solve this puzzle. Here’s a guide on figuring out the code for the fascist loot, or, a direct answer that you can use to unlock it.
How To Start ‘A Date To Remember’ Mystery In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
This quest becomes available once you have started the Nun in Trouble Fieldwork. It will begin on its own after you return from the catacombs and talk to Antonio.
If you’ve started the Nun In Trouble Fieldwork, Gina will unlock one of the doors that leads to the Museum Wing Garden. You can explore this area before this happens, but you won’t be able to come all the way to the garden. Once Gina has unlocked this area for you, head over to the garden and search for a green tent with a sleeping guard near it. This area is restricted so be careful while exploring around.
You’ll find the tent in the corner of the garden, with a locked chest. Unlocking this chest is the main mystery since it utilizes a code that’s hard to decipher.
How To Solve A Date To Remember In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
There are 3 clues in a drawer near the chest that help you get the code in the ‘A Date To Remember’ mystery:
- Calendar Page: this calendar page will contain a marked date that can be used as a hint.
- Code Lookup Table: this sheet of paper will have a table with random numbers all over it.
- Secret Delivery Letter: will contain a code word.
The first clue you’ll need will be from the Calendar page. You’ll see that October 20th has been marked as the day of the Shipment’s arrival. Another clue is through the Secret Delivery Letter, which will have the code “DICE”. The letter explains that the code should’ve been 4718 since the shipment was supposed to arrive on Wednesday. As this note was dated October 15th, you’ll have to change the numbers of the code to unlock the chest.
Once you get those previous notes, use the Code Look Up Table to understand the code. You’ll see that some numbers are circled in the “Mar” Column. Here, these words are used as codes for days of the week. So, Dom would be Sunday, Lun’s Monday, Mar is Tuesday, Mer is Wednesday, Gio is Thursday, Ven would be Friday and Sab is Saturday.
So now, since Oct 20th is a Friday – we look under Ven, and check the numbers against D, I, C & E in that order to get the mystery code.
A Date To Remember Puzzle’s Code
The code works out to 6380. Once you figure out the corresponding numbers of the word, you’ll unlock the chest.
Put this code on the chest and it’ll open up to reveal two rewards. This includes:
- Vatican Medicine Book: Handy guide to finding medicine and some remedies for diseases.
- A letter from Giovanni: Congratulations letter addressed to his son.
The Vatican medicine book can be used for locating 15 medicine bottles in the city. Completing A Date To Remember Quest will also reward the player with 100 Adventure Points and 10 Lira.
