Throne and Liberty offers more than just a regular RPG adventure. As you create your ideal build and work on your codex, you also have to learn how to prioritize your gear and equip the best ones. Character progression in Throne and Liberty is vastly different from other RPG games, as in this one you need to work on leveling up your gear and weapons to get stronger.
Once you have upgraded your weapons to the Epic or Purple rarity, you need to max trait the weapons to make them more powerful. But unlocking traits in the higher levels is not easy, and in this guide we have detailed out how to max trait purple weapons in Throne and Liberty.
Max Trait Purple Weapons For Cheap In Throne And Liberty
The easiest way to max out your weapon traits is to have enough Trait Conversion Stones and Trait Unlockstones. Then, you need to learn how to unlock and upgrade traits, and our handy guide will help you with the basics. Your goal here is to accumulate enough Blessings, which can be done by feeding Blue rarity weapons to your existing weapon.
Use Material To Gain Blessings
Make your way to the Guild Merchant and purchase the Rare Special Weapon Selection Chest item from the merchant shop. Unlock all the chests to collect any random weapon, then go through the weapon traits of each of them to see if they have a trait that fits your needs. Don’t use your Blessings to upgrade or unlock traits just yet, rather feed these extra weapons and their traits into your existing purple weapon. Keep doing this to gain Blessings instead of using them. You can get a random chance to upgrade a trait or unlock a new trait through this method.
Use Blessings For Guaranteed Trait Upgrade
Keep accumulating enough blue weapons to feed your weapon of choice till you can gather enough blessings. We are looking at accumulating around 1300+ Blessings, so that requires a lot of blue weapons. Your accumulated Blessings will come in handy when it comes to upgrading a really rare Trait. Out of the three weapon traits you have, use your Blessings to upgrade the most difficult one to get. To do that, head into the Auction House and search for the trait in question.
Purchase a blue weapon with the required trait, then head back to the Trait menu. Select the weapon to merge with your existing weapon and use Blessings to get that particular trait guaranteed. You can repeat this step as many times as you wish to upgrade your required Trait. Later on, once your Traits have hit a higher level, you can invest in purchasing Purple weapons from the Auction House and feed those in to upgrade your traits some more.
Best Prices to Purchase Weapons from Auctions Houses
If you are looking to solely feed Auction House weapons to your primary weapon to unlock and upgrade traits, then you should look for the cheapest possibilities. When it comes to blue weapons, you can find weapons listed at 30 and below, and these work just fine. Once your weapon traits reach above level 50, then you can purchase purple weapons from the auction house instead of blue for faster trait upgrades. Any purple weapon below 100 Lucent is worth it, otherwise get the blue weapons and upgrade them using Blessings.
So, overall, if you follow this method, you would have spent less than 1000 Lucent to upgrade the traits of one purple weapon in Throne and Liberty. You might have some differences if you use the guaranteed unlock for a trait, which can cost a bit more, or going overboard in the Auction House. Maxing out your traits can increase your Combat Power, which is a good deal while trying to create a best build in Throne and Liberty.
