In ASKA, your tools allow you to harvest different resources from the environment. The lush world in ASKA is filled with resources everywhere you look. From precious resources like Jotun Lifeblood, which lets you attract more villagers to your colony, to sticks and stones, you can gather almost everything you lay your eyes on.
However, to gather each resource, you need a specific tool. When you wash up on the shore as you start a new game, you’ll have a basic set of tools in your backpack. Your starter tools include a Stone Axe, Stone Pickaxe, Stone Knife, Wood Hammer, Wood Hoe, and Wood Rake.
However, as the game progresses, upgrading the tools to help you gather resources quickly and in higher quantities is essential.
How to Upgrade Tools in ASKA
To upgrade your tools in ASKA you need to build a Workshop Pit. Open up your Build menu and click on the Advanced Production tab to find this building. When you place it on a location, make sure there’s enough space around it so that you can expand it later on.
Once you’ve built your Workshop Pit, interact with the Crafting Table to upgrade your tools. You can also upgrade the Workshop Pit later on to unlock more crafting recipes.
