Tiny Bookshop is a new cozy game that is quickly gaining popularity for its quirky storyline and many quests. But one particular quest objective has a lot of players stumped. While exploring the Mega Marche, you will get an objective to find out who stabbed the mascot and why. This guide will explain how to solve the mascot case in Tiny Bookshop.

Once you reach Mega Marche and after Fern mentions the mascot murder, click on the trash can at the bottom left corner to collect the knife.

As part of the Mega Marche achievement in Tiny Bookshop, you need to collect various items around the supermarket, and one of the items to collect is a murder weapon. To start the Mascot Murder quest, you need to first pin the related quest to your investigation board. The board will be placed in your shop, and it automatically unlocks as soon as you visit Mega Marche and speak to Fern about the deflated mascot.

Place the board in your shop and find the Mascot Murder case from your inventory. Interact with it to add it to the board and start the quest. Head over to Mega Marche and speak to Fern. He will instruct you to check the CCTV to find clues. Instead of clicking around aimlessly, click on the trash can on the left side bottom corner. It will tip over, revealing the murder weapon; a knife.

    Continue the Investigation

There are three more items to collect as part of the investigation, and you need to talk to various NPCs to gather the next clues. You don’t have to stick around Mega Marche, just go around town and talk to any NPC at any location with the knife and case equipped. Eventually, someone will mention the Mascot case, giving you the next piece of information. Remember to visit the Fall Market and Winter Market whenever they pop up to find new NPCs who will give you new clues.

This investigation may run over the course of several days, so keep talking to people across various locations and events. Eventually, you will get the prompt to add the knife to your shop display. As you keep traveling around with the knife on display, the culprit might see it, starting a new quest chain for the murder case. Keep checking your stamp book to know your progress while on the Mega Marche page.

Once you solve the mascot murder, the mascot will be fixed and put up for sale. Check the newspaper regularly to find the listing and purchase it, bringing you one step closer to complete the Mega Marche achievement. Check out our other Tiny Bookshop guide on getting the stage for Klaus to know more.
