The codex list in Throne and Liberty has several quests to complete and those will take you around the regions and various points of interest to complete them. Sometimes you might encounter puzzles to solve as part of the quest, and those can be quite a handful. While some puzzles are self-explanatory, some others will leave you even more confused than before. While exploring the Lycan’s Hall during the Nightmare Deja Vu chapter, you will encounter the Moon Puzzle. While it may look complicated upfront, the solution for this is quite simple.

In this guide we will see how to solve the Lycan’s Hall moon puzzle in Throne and Liberty. There are two moon puzzles to solve while exploring the Lycan’s Hall.

Lycan’s Hall Location In Throne & Liberty

The Lycan’s Hall can be found once you start the Nightmare Deja Vu quest in Chapter 10. This is the main story quest so you can’t miss it. Once you pick up the quest item “Someone’s Journal” in Stonegard’s Grayclaw Forest, you will start the Harden’s Tracks codex. Follow the quest objectives to be led to Lycan’s Hall. Talk to Clay in Lycan’s Hall, and he will ask for help to dispel the magic surrounding the hall. This brings us to the 2 Moon Puzzles in Lycan’s Hall.

    Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle # 1 Solution

To solve the First Moon Puzzle in Lycan’s Hall, you have to memorize and correctly pick the half-yellow and half-blue moon pillars after they come to a standstill. This is hinted to you in the description when interacting with the puzzle area for the first time, which reads: ‘When the yellow and blue half-moon pieces are gathered, the full moon shall awaken’. Follow the below steps to solve this puzzle:

    • Interact with the Full Moonstone at the center of the puzzle area to start.
    • Each pillar will have a sliver, half or full blue-colored or yellow-colored moon.
    • Take your time, and interact with any one of the half-moon pillars. Just to make it easier to explain, let’s say we decide to interact with the blue half moon pillar. Before you do that, memorize the location of the yellow half-moon pillar.
    • As soon as you interact, all pillars will start moving. Keep your eye on the yellow half-moon pillar.
    • Once all the pillars come to a standstill, pick out the yellow half moon pillar correctly to solve the puzzle.
    • If you fail, don’t worry, you will get stunned and you can give it one more try.

    Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle # 2 Solution

To solve the second Moon Puzzle in Lycan’s Hall, you have to select the pillar, which has a moon phase that, when added to the moon phase allocated to you in the beginning, completes a full moon and is of an opposite color. So, for e.g.; if you get a blue half moon, you have to select a yellow half moon. If you get a crescent yellow moon, you have to select the almost-full blue moon.

The good thing here is that unlike the first puzzle, the shapes on each pillar will continue to remain, so you can take your time and figure out the right pillar to interact with. Repeat this process till you are left with just a full blue moon, then Clay will indicate to stop the puzzle. And with that, the Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle in Throne & Liberty is solved!
