How To Slow Down Time In Schedule 1

The clock stops at 4 a.m. in Schedule 1, so you must carry out all the activities before the time limit. The game doesn’t officially allow you to extend the time as you please, so we must resort to a few workarounds to lengthen the time. Here we are going to look at the best options for slowing down time in Schedule 1.

    DayLengthMod

The best way to lengthen the daytime in Schedule 1 would be to ‘Mod’ the game. The DayLengthMod allows you to change the length of the days to match the tone of your gameplay. The ability to make adjustments to the in-game time progression rate is the highlight of this DayLengthMod. Here is the list of notable features of the mod:

    • The default is set to 2x Daylength.
    • You can also make the day shorter and longer by tampering with the configuration file found in the mod.
    • Compatible with save games.
    • The mod is updated to handle the latest version of Schedule 1.

    Install Guide:

Installing the mod is simpler than most games on Nexus. Follow the steps.

    • You must download the Melon Loader program. Basically a mod application for your game.
    • Download the mod from Nexus, You must create an account on the website to gain access to download the file.
    • Copy the downloaded file “DayLengthMod.dll “and paste it into the Schedule 1\Mods folder.
    • That’s it, launch the game to see the effect right away.

    Customize Time for Schedule 1

If you do want to make changes to the daytime, then you need to edit the config file. You can locate the file under – “Schedule/Mods/DayLengthMod/config.ini“

    • DayLengthMultiplier: default is 2.0 for days twice as long
    • 2.0 = Days are 2x longer (default)
    • 4.0 = Days are 4x longer
    • 10.0 = Days are 10x longer
    • 0.5 = Days are 2x shorter (time passes twice as fast)
    • Debug: Set to true to enable debug logging (shows more detailed information)
    • true = Enable Debugging
    • false = Disable Debugging (Default)
    • MaxSearchAttempts: Maximum number of attempts to find time-related components
    • SearchInterval: Interval between search attempts in seconds

Once you have made all the changes to the Config.ini file, you save and restart to apply the changes to the mod.

Note: For a proper multiplayer experience, all players must set the mod to the proper timing for a smooth experience.

    Other Options:

    • You can use CheatEngine to slow down the time by using the Speedhack option in the app.
    • Another discussed method includes going over to the Console section by pressing the “~” key, and typing ” settimescale 0.5.”
    • In-game workaround includes getting a Golden Skateboard to move around the map faster. So you will get more work done before hitting the deadline.

With this time saved, there are a lot of things to do in the game, like making an automatic farm, find the best vehicles to use in Schedule 1, and get more dealers.
