Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, barricades will get broken when they are constantly being attacked by zombies. Here you must repair them in time for the brutality of the next day. In this guide, we will look at How To Repair the Barricade in Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days.

Repairing Barricade In Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Setting up barricades in a zombie attack can save your life, but they will need maintenance to work properly. Since they are the first line of defense, you must tend to them after they reach the broken status. The barricades lose one wood after an attack, eventually it will lead to two, and then three.

The threat level of the game rises over time, the barrier will be taking a significant hit as time runs along. Luckily, there is a way to repair the barricade to up your survival time. Here is how to repair the barricade in Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days.

    • Head up to the location of the broken barricade.
    • Interact with the barricade by pressing the” E button“.
    • A new window will open up, detailing the repair cost and the barricade’s strength.
    • Here you must invest 2 x Wood to fix the barricade. Each repair will add 3 health chunks to the barricade. The barricade will have 10 Health Chunks attached to it.
    • If the barricade took a significant amount of damage, then you need to invest more resources to get the barricade’s health to an optimal level.

Survival decision carries the game, here you need to decide whether to save the resource or invest it all for a stronger barricade. Having a barricade with over 70% health will be able to withstand most of the damage.

It will not be a sustainable strategy to stay longer in an area and rely on the wooden barricade for proper defense. The threat level rises over time, which will make the zombies more violent, and they will destroy the barrier more quickly compared to the first day. The goal is to keep moving to survive, staying in one location will suck up your resources, leaving you as food for the zombies.
