The latest installment of Dragon Age offers some unique features that haven’t been seen before. Besides the extensive list of quests and side quests, you also have to solve some puzzles to unlock new areas and rare items. While the quests themselves are pretty straightforward, you might have a hard time trying to decipher some of the puzzles instead.

Once you reach the third main quest titled In Entropy’s Grasp, you have to help Bellara Lutare to power up the door to the temple. This involves a few puzzles and items to locate, after which you can successfully enter the temple and meet the final boss. In this guide we will show you how to power the door for the In Entropy’s Grasp quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

How To Start ‘In Entropy’s Grasp’ In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

The “In Entropy’s Grasp” quest starts when you reach Arlathan Forest in Beacon Island. You will reach this location as part of the main story quest. After locating Bellara within the forest, you will be guided towards an old Elven Temple to deactivate the Veil Bubble Artifact. There are a few simple puzzles to solve along the way, like deactivating the Resonance Amplifiers and using the Powercrystal to form a bridge or unlock doors.

Once inside the Cliff Wolf Temple, continue onwards to find the Frenzied Sentinel mini-boss. Defeat it to find the door that will lead you to the Artifact. But you require two Powercrystals to activate the door, and the second Powercrystal is hidden behind a blocked passage.

    Collect the Second Powercrystal

You need to locate a Ballista nearby to help you break down the wall where the second Powercrystal is hidden behind. But first, you need to unlock the door that will take you to the Ballista. To do that, head over to the quest marker on the south and pick up the lone Powercrystal near the door. Take it to the locked door on the opposite end of the area and place it on the pedestal. Enter the now unlocked door and head up the staircase to find the Ballista covered in Blight Boils.

    Power Up The Door

Use any weapon to break the boils and use the Ballista to break down the wall opposite your location. Also, kill all the Darkspawn that appear nearby. After that, jump down and enter the broken wall to find the second Powercrystal. Pick it up and place it on the pedestal near the quest marker. Pick up the other Powercrystal that you used previously and place that on the other pedestal to power up the door.

And with that, you are ready to progress ahead in the story. Like in all previous games, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has an option to romance your companions, and we have put up a guide on how to romance Taash in case you want to check out exactly how to go about doing it.
