    How To Play As Hela

Hela is good at both mid-range and long-range fights. She can bring down flying characters and damage their health even from a distance. If you aim her attacks well, she can instantly eliminate enemies with health of 275HP or less. This also makes her a bit harder to use since she’s extremely aim-dependent.

The Nightsword Thorn is an effective attack if there is enough distance between Hela and her enemy. You can use the Astral Flock ability to quickly escape whenever you are cornered by enemies. This is very handy while dealing with strong close-range fighters like Black Panther or Spiderman.

While the Goddess of Death ability can do a whole lot of damage to a group of enemies, it also makes Hela stand out too much. Use it when your team is covering for you and are keeping the enemies engaged. The attack does make her invincible, but once it ends she becomes vulnerable to attacks.

Use the Soul Drainer and Nastrond Crowstorm to kill off enemies that are low on health. What matters is the accuracy of your attacks, try to attack where many enemies are grouped up. These abilities can also prevent the enemy team from healing and constantly keep them at low HP.

Hela can be weak against close-range attacks and shield comps. This will make her susceptible to the powers of heroes like Magneto, Doctor Strange, Groot, and many others who have the ability to create a shield or wall between them. Hela can only damage such characters by attacking at an angle.

Soul Drainer can stun your enemies for some time. You can use this to stop their attacks while shifting to a safer place. If you aim it at enemies which are grouped up, you can stun all of them at once.

Her strong abilities demand longer cooldowns. This is another weakness that Hela has. Since Hela can’t spam abilities like Soul Drainer or Astral Flock, try to use them only when necessary. Take down backline fighters first and then focus on Vanguards. Use Piercing Night against Vanguards if they come close to you.

    Hela: Best Team Combinations

Since her Team-Up Ability is with Thor and Loki, she will have the best synergy with her brothers. Some other characters that she works well with are:

    • Hawkeye
    • Captain America
    • Doctor Strange
    • Hulk
    • Venom
    • Mantis

Characters like Mantis are strong strategists and can help Hela stay alive while she takes down enemies. Doctor Strange and Hela have similar abilities, which is why they will be a strong duo in any group.

Thor, Hela and Loki in a single team can turn the tide of any game in their favor. Hela can resurrect Thor and Loki just after killing a single enemy. If they happen to be alive, Thor and Loki will end up getting a Health boost that can help them carry out their roles as Vanguard and Strategist.
