However, as your follower count grows, you might find yourself in need of rearranging your meticulously planned settlements. Luckily, the game allows you to both move and destroy buildings so that you can customize your cult’s layout. This guide covers everything you need to know to relocate and demolish settlements in Cult of the Lamb.
Moving Buildings in Cult of the Lamb
If you wish to change the layout of your base and want to move a settlement, there is no need to demolish the building and recreate it. The game allows you to edit all the buildings except for the Central Place of Worship, Crafting Station, and Resource Chest. All the other buildings and decorations in Cult of the Lamb can be moved by following these simple steps:
- Head to the Crafting Station, this building can be identified with a hammer mark on it.
- Click on Edit Buildings option at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the building you wish to relocate and click on the Move option.
- Drag the building to a new location. You need to ensure that the selected location is empty and does not have any other building or follower.
- Once you have found an empty slot and are happy with it place the building at this spot.
You can also relocate decorations in your base to create an aesthetic appeal to it.

Destroying Buildings In Cult Of The Lamb
If a building has outlived its purpose in Cult of the Lamb or you simply want to get rid of it, you can choose to destroy it and reclaim the resources and space it has used up. However, this action is irreversible and requires careful forethought. Once you have made up your mind, you can destroy a building by following these simple steps:
- Head to the Crafting Station.
- Click on Edit Buildings option (bottom of the screen).
- Select the building, you wish to demolish.
- As you will hover over the building, a Remove option will appear along with a Move option.
- Click on the Remove option.
Performing these steps will destroy the respective building and compensate you with its resources. Now you will have additional space in your base and you can use it as per your liking.
