How To Get The Automated Wiring Recipe In Satisfactory
The Automated Wiring recipe unlocks at Tier 4 Milestone: Advanced Steel Production module. To reach Tier 4, you need to complete the Space Elevator Phase 1. If you haven’t unlocked the Space Elevator yet, which is a crucial component for carrying Automated Wiring, then you can find the recipe under Tier 0 – HUB Upgrade 6. Collect the following items to craft the Space Elevator
- 500x Concrete
- 250x Iron Plate
- 400x Iron Rod
- 1,500x Wire
Complete Phase 1 by delivering all the required Project Assembly Parts to unlock Tier 4 and get the Automated Wiring recipe
How To Craft Automated Wiring In Satisfactory
Now that you have the recipe, you will find that you require the following materials to craft it
- 1x Stator
- 20x Cable
How To Get Stator
To craft Stator, you require 3x Steel Pipe and 8x Wire. Steel Pipes can be crafted by taking 3x Steel Ingots to the Constructor and getting 2x Steel Pipe. You can unlock the Steel Pipes recipe after reaching Tier 3 – Basic Steel Production. For Wire, you need to take 1x Copper Ingot to the Constructor to get 2x Wire. Once you have Wire and Steel Pipe, take them to the Assembler to get 1x Stator
How To Get Cable
You can unlock the crafting recipe for cable very early in the game, at Tier 0 – HUB Upgrade 2. Take 2x Wire to the Constructor to get 1x Cable
Take all the above materials to the Assembler to get 1x Automated Wiring.
Note: Try to place your factory near a sufficient source of Copper Nodes, as crafting the Automated Wiring will take up a lot of Copper.
How To Use Automated Wiring In Satisfactory
Automated Wiring is one of the main Project Assembly Parts required to complete deliveries via the Space Elevator. To unlock the next Tier, complete all the previous delivery requirements. You will need a total of 8,350 Automated Wiring for the various phases within the Space Elevator. Below are the Automated Wiring requirements for the Space Elevator
- Phase 1 – 0
- Phase 2 – 100
- Phase 3 – 750
- Phase 4 – 5000
- Phase 5 – 2500
Automated Wiring is also required in crafting the Adaptive Control Unit. You require 5x Automated Wiring along with 5x Circuit Board, 1x Heavy Modular Frame, and 2x Computer. You can craft this resource at the Manufacturer, and you can unlock the Adaptive Control Unit recipe at Tier 6 – Industrial Manufacturing. If you have excess Automated Wiring and are done with the crafting and deliveries, you can sink it into the AWESOME Sink and get 1,440 points.
Alternate Recipe For The Automated Wiring In Satisfactory
There is another Automated Wiring recipe called the Automated Speed Wiring. The production for this type of Automated Wiring is much faster than the regular material, but you require more complex infrastructure and more materials to craft it. The Automated Speed Wiring can be unlocked either through the Tier 4 – Advanced Steel Production or MAM Caterium Research – AI Limiter. You require the following materials to craft it and it has to be produced at the Manufacturer
- 2x Stator
- 40x Wire
- 1x High Speed Connector
Using all the above resources will give you 4x Automated Wiring, as compared to the 1x Automated Wiring you get from the Assembler
