    How to Heal in ASKA

ASKA is the latest to join the ranks of open-world survival village-builder games, and it can take a while to figure things out. Survival isn’t easy in the game, and you’ll spend hours just to learn how the basics work.

Whether Mother Nature comes knocking at your doorsteps or mythical enemies try to attack you at the most inconvenient times, you’d often find yourself running low on health. Wondering how to top off your health in ASKA?

In this guide, we’ll tell you all you need to know about healing in this game. Let’s hop in!

How to Heal in the Early Game in ASKA

Healing in the early game comes from eating garlic and onion and resting at Shelters, as well as the Healing Hut. Let’s take a look at how each of these systems works:

    Onion and Garlic:

For the most part of the early game, you’ll be relying on eating garlic and onion for healing in ASKA. You can find them in the woods while foraging. Pressing the Scan(Z) button will highlight all the harvestable elements in the environment. So keep scanning while you roam the wilds, and you’ll be able to stock up on a decent number of them in no time.

Eating Garlic and Onion only restores a small amount of health over a short period. But you can eat multiple of them at once to stack the healing buff and restore a larger amount of health. It’s quick, efficient, and works great when you’re fighting enemies in the game.

    Building a Shelter:

While eating Onion and Garlic is good when you’re on the move, resting at a Shelter will offer a greater amount of healing for you and your villagers. You can build a Shelter as soon as you set up camp by building your Campfire.

Once your Campfire is up, access the Build menu, and you’ll find Shelter in the Bushcraft tab. After building it, you can rest inside the Shelter to heal up to full. Your villagers that you recruit will also use it to top off their lost health from time to time.

    Building a Healing Hut

As your village grows, you’ll get the option to construct better buildings. For healing, the Healing Hut is a must-have building in your base. It allows you to regain lost health quickly using Medicines.

Access the Build menu and click on the Magic tab to find the Healing Hut. If it’s greyed out, hover your mouse over it to see what you need to unlock it.

These are all the main ways to heal in ASKA. Hopefully, now you’ll have an easier time keeping both you and your villagers happy and healthy as you grow your Viking settlement.
