In Borderlands 4, you can find numerous Echo Logs that establish the lore and the overarching storyline of the game, and one of them is the Gushing Turret Echo Log in The Howl region. This Echo Log, however, is difficult to locate and grab compared to the other Echo Logs.
The Location of the Gushing Turret Echo Log in Borderlands 4
The Echo Log is located on top of a silo in the middle of the Gushing Turret in The Howl region. This Echo Log details a character named Zadra meeting a particularly talkative robot and shares her experiences with it. It is quite easy to guess who this certain talkative robot is, so it is worth collecting this Log to hear Zadra’s experiences.
The location is just across the Kit Hole Order Silo, located Southwest in The Howl. Once in this area, look for a long, round structure. You might’ve already cleared this silo if you’ve been following our Fadefields Order Silo location guide.
How to Reach the Gushing Turret Echo Log and Take It
Once you have captured the order silo, move downhill, towards Southwest. You’ll find a balloon that lets you zipline all the way to the top and fly around the distance. This is what we have to use to reach the top of the Gushing Turret and get the Echo Log.
Ride the zipline all the way to the top, and start descending Southwest, towards the Gushing Turret Echo Log. Keep flying until you reach the point, and press the jump button to stop flying. This will cause you to descend on the structure. So, right before you hit the ground, press the jump button once to jump mid-air and then step on the structure.
You will find the Gushing Turret Echo Log on top of a red box. Pick up the item, and listen to the conversation left by Zadra. As a bonus, you get yourself a white chest sitting right beside the red box. Interact with the chest, and you might get yourself a great weapon with a high rarity and a different damage type based on your luck.
